That's pretty grim. From what I've read he'd done brilliantly to come back as strong from the previous two cruciate injuries.
Terrible news. To come back from like two years without football and to be top scorer in the league is absolutely amazing. He was set to star at the World Cup, too.

I happened to watch the match and it seemed to be due to some utter fat head of a Livorno CB who came in hard from behind, if that's allowed to say. Ghastly stuff, and the guy went on slagging Rossi off afterwards.
Just seen the ever excellent James Richardson mention it on BT Sports.....absolutely gutted for him in World Cup Year. I've always been a big admirer of his talents and knew he would become a top player.
So classy on the ball but so unlucky with his injuries. He needs to dig deep now and remember he has done it once and can do it again, he's young enough to recover.
