Here we go! 10 clubs have settled, battled for land and finally formed the new BFL Amazon Championship. One winner, three (possibly 4) qualify for the CL and one team is relegated to the Basement League every season. They will also be competing in the Google Cup.

Who will win the inaugural season? Here is the map of the clubs.

Here is the league as it looks in its infancy. Each team plays each other 4 times a season. Total of 36 games.

@Green_Red - Ballbagonas

Ballbagonas have gone for a red and green colour scheme. Their manager is some bloke called Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and their talisman is James Garner. Will they perform like a Utd under 23s team? Time will tell.
************************************************************

@Samid - Bastards

The Bastards have gone for a muted grey and black colour scheme. Their manager is Hansi Flick and they managed to get Moukoko. Watch out for him.
************************************************************

@Spielmacher - Ceta Bucks

Ceta Bucks gone all Palermo here with their kit. They've brought in Naglesmann as the first manager in their history. He was sacked in the test after 6 months so let's keep our eyes on that.
************************************************************

@altodevil - Fatherland

Another grey and black outfit. Marcelino as manager and Joao Pedro as the star. They've done well in most of the test runs but could've been cause they kept qualifying for the CL by accident.
************************************************************

@Vidyoyo - Game Pass Utd

Good ebening to Game Pass Utd. They're playing in a green kit which I find disgusting. Let's see how they do.

@harms - Long South Olympique

Long South going for a colour scheme that makes it almost impossible to read their name in the banner. Bielsa might need new glasses.
************************************************************

@Damien - RB Widnes

RB Widnes' logo was so wide I had to squish it. So that's a good start for them. A team that always did well in testing which is weird because Mourinho is their manager.
************************************************************

@The Cat - Southern Lands FC

The same club as Long South Olympique in my brain. I feel like a full blue home and a red away is just a no-no in football but hey-ho. Brentan at the helm of course.
************************************************************

@RedTiger - Sporting Balkawra

Sporting's kit a feast for the eyes here. If that feast was a casserole that had been stamped and shat on. Allegri at the helm and Hannibal on the books. Might take them a few years to really get going.
************************************************************

@oneniltothearsenal - The Beach

Will this club end up just like the film. Stuck in the same spot forever? We'll see. Gasperini the hipster manager of choice and Moriba has high potential.

So we are at August 11th 2020. The day before the season starts. How has everyone done?

Green_Red - Ballbagonas

Ballbagonas are a bit short on players (actually everyone is), but they did splash out the highest fee so far. Spending £33.5m on Memphis Depay. Also a bloke called Aissa Mandi from Betis £14.5m. They will be starting the season using youth/fake players.

Samid - Bastards

Bastards have only signed Gaston Ramirez on loan up until this point. No idea what Hansi Flick is up to. They've offered a contract to Cillessen.

Spielmacher - Ceta Bucks

Jerome Roussillon? Cost £9m but that's it so far! They've offered contracts to Florian Grillitsch and Houssem Aouar though.

altodevil - Fatherland FI

Fatherland have splashed out £22m on Wily Boly but not much else. They've offered contracts to a few others.

vidoyo - Game Pass Utd

Second highest fee paid so far... Harry Winks! £27.5m parted with for the midfielder. Also Sergio Romero from Utd. They've offered a contract to Matija Nastasic.

harms - Long South Olympique

Serge Aurier and Matheus Klich for £21m and £24m respectively. They're also working on a deal for Pablo Rosario.

Damien - RB Widnes

Widnes have signed Mohamed Elneny from Arsenal for £17.5m and then Sidnei from Betis for £8.75m. They're in the contract stages with GK Gabriel and also 30 year old Jonathan Viera.

The Cat - Southland FC

Southland have signed Hakan Calhanoglu for £23m. No other big names yet but a few smaller players.

RedTiger - Sporting

Nico Elvedi for £22m and Moussa Sissoko (!) for £19.75m so far. Also Stepanenko.

oneniltothearsenal - The Beach

The most signings of any club so far, with 7 in the bag. Edson Alvarez is the most expensive, costing £22.5m. I don't know who the rest are, apart from Lucas Leiva who cost £3.5m from Lazio.

*************************************************************************************************

There are some contract battles going on. Jeremie Frimpong, Elseid Hysaj, Alberto Moreno, Jeremie Boga and Jens Petter Hague are all negotiating with pretty much every club in the division.

Thanks @Solius. Great start.

How come only the first two teams have the logo on their kit?
Because they've got badges created by the game. The rest of you have custom badges and it would've required me to create kits with the badges on for those.

Most clubs have a decent sized squad now but will still have youth/generated players on the bench.

Green_Red - Ballbagonas

Xaver Schlager and Felipe Caicedo are notable signing. El Ghazi came from Villa too.

Samid - Bastards

Julian Draxler joined for only £8m. They also managed to get Vinicius Junior on loan, as well as signing Jasper Cillessen and Elseid Hysaj.

Spielmacher - Ceta Bucks

The Bucks spent their bucks on Djibril Sow, Jeremie Boga and Rick Karsdorp to name a few. They also brought in Diego Costa on a free.

altodevil - Fatherland FI

The biggest transfer of the window and of all time in the BFL. Houssem Aouar joined Fatherland for £45m. Other notable signings were Roman Saiss and Jordan Amavi.

vidyoyo - Game Pass Utd

Jefferson Lerma joined for £40.5m. Some other players but none that are well known.

harms - Long South Olympique

No bigger signings than their original big two. Tom Davies comes in on loan from Everton though.

Damien - RB Widnes

Widnes spent their highest fee on Neal Maupay from Brighton for £20m. They also signed RB Denzel Dumfries for £16.75m. Lukas Hradecky too.

The Cat - Southland FC

Probably the smallest squad of all the teams. They failed to bring in many players, leaving them with a squad of 9.

RedTiger - Sporting

Jannik Vestergaard joined, as did Anrej Kramaric.

oneniltothearsenal - The Beach

The Beach signed a different Joao Pedro. He is currently out-Joao Pedro-ing the original Joao Pedro.

I wonder if a good experiment would be allowing us to create custom managers with 100 year contracts and legend status (can't be sacked). Can add daft tendencies and watch the carnage unfold.

Bielsa seems to be investing in midfield. Hopefully the mad bastard does well.

So it is now Feb 2nd 2021. 22 games have been played each and the January transfer window allowed all clubs to complete their squads. Here they are.

So Sporting top the table at the halfway point!

Moussa Marega and Taras Stepanenko have been their best players, with Marega second in the scoring charts.

The Beach are not far behind and Joao Pedro II is doing well for them. He's actually scored the fastest goal in the league's history with 33 seconds against RB Widnes.

The best match so far was a 3 - 2 win for Fatherland over Southland FC. Fatherland took the lead before going 2 - 1 down. They managed to score 2 goals in the second half to win it though.

Southland FC have been having a really difficult time since the season began. Rodgers was actually sacked on Jan 2nd. Maurizio Sarri has come in and made 8 signings, including Rob Holding, Ben Davies (Liverpool one) and Ryan Bertrand.

Oh, I've got Amad on a loan! Nice. Not sure why he's only rated at 1,8 mil though, that's a really low evaluation.

It's tight at the top and bottom with 6 games left!

Game Pass Utd panicked and sacked Emery. They've brought in Slaven Bilic for some reason.

Seems like that money influx didn't help me much. 5 losses in 8 games!
