Foden has actually played fewer minutes, at least in the Premier League. Also didn't have the benefit of playing in the Europa League.

Premier League only:
Greenwood

I didn’t know this, thanks for the clarification. This strengthens the point I was trying to make

Both are among the biggest talents in the world.
I think it would be easier for Greenwood to play and perform in a team like City compare to Foden for us.
Playing in a team that can control possession and dominate games like City does, while more demanding in regards to understanding, movement and positioning, is easier than playing in our individualistic attacking schemes.

No problem, and I agree with your point. The notion that it's a settled fact that Greenwood is a better goalscorer is just not true.

Foden is just edging it in the league, which I always think is the fairest comparison as the standard will be similar. Cup stats can depend on who you get drawn against, or even which cup it is if you played in different ones like Greenwood did on the Europa.

For Champions League which I think would be the next best measure Greenwood edges it, he has one goal in 212 minutes which is obviously 212 minutes per goal, Foden 4 on 1020 at 255 minutes per goal. Both again in the 200s, both reasonably close to each other, very small sample size. The sample size for their league records to date is still small too, so who knows what will happen but back to that original point, it's far from settled that Greenwood is the better goalscorer, it's close whichever way you look at it. In terms of appearances, both roughly 1 in 4 players so far in all comps.
