Is it safe to say that betting on the opening weekend is too unpredictable?
I always do a few cross double & trebles on draws on the opening day. Beyond that its always a bit dodgey in my experience...Is it safe to say that betting on the opening weekend is too unpredictable?
Haven't done them yet - but now that you've brought it up, I may do it now.i was thinking the same, who were your picks?
I was going to back QPR looking at the players they've added, I also think Liverpool and Fulham are likely to win for what it's worth.Punting on Swansea
Yeah I've gone the same, third team is United to win and another with us to draw. Fiver each I believe.I usually don't on the opening weeekend, but I think I will this time. May just go for a dull City, Chelsea and (another team) treble. Saying that, I'll most likely make an accumulator and bet small.
I'll probably stay away, but I reckon West Ham. If Villa have Bent, then I'll say draw.I think West Ham v Villa is the hardest to call.
I went with West Ham.I think West Ham v Villa is the hardest to call.
Lost 20 quid but the rawk meltdown thread should make up for it.Liverpool at 2.00 is a great bet.
Should've listened to Decotron about the draws, best way to go! Got the Stoke and Arsenal draws right and got my money back for the scorecast and ht/ft in the Arsenal game. Not big money but a nice day's work.Should have listened to the child inside me this morning - don't feck around on the first day of the season
Well played mate. You going to cover a Chelsea win/draw?3 down 1 to go!
I'll give you some advice. Absolutely definitely lay Wigan. Thanks man, might do. I got all night to think about it.
That was kind of a bad idea. Here goes!!
I've bet on chelsea winning to console myself if this doesn't come off, however if this is a draw I'm not sure how i'll cope.
