due to pressure from Liverpool supporter groups over his repeated statements that Liverpool fans killed their own at Hillsborough. He also lost a shit load of advertising for his daily satellite radio show World Soccer Daily.

I personally couldn't stand this cnut and he was bang out of order for saying that.

On the flip side the show will now be even shitter as Eric Wynalda will be the new co host, a complete useless tosser as a player and feckin dough head on screen. How much do I not want to listen to him go on about the MLS!!

Wynalda is an idiot. I'm buying Setanta this year ($15/month), hope it provides me with some decent commentary.

I don't know what's the deal with Cohen, but apparently he seems to really have it in for Liverpool fans. At first I thought his comments weren't really that bad, I believe all he did was plant a few seeds of doubt by implying that the thousands of drunken fans may have played a role in the disaster, which is probably what many people feel anyways but are afraid to say it because of the sensitivity of the issue, and contrary to the Taylor Report that seems to completely write off their responsibility a bit too certain at the time. However, apparently he then went on to have a feud with the Liverpool supporters that boycotted his show, and even went as far as to singing Murderers and his comments became more extreme, so i guess he deserves it.

He's gotten further and further out of control and up his own arse in the last couple of years.

This doesn't really surprise me

 Steve Cohen couldn't have lasted, he was an egomaniac that did try to reel in his love of Chelsea this past season, but seriously he ran his mouth as if he were a crackhead trying to sell someone on a cell phone box with a rock inside.

I did enjoy calling up the show (FOX Football Fone-In) and fecking with him. In that, he did have a great sense of humor. He will be missed...

As for the new crew, they had better develope a sense of humor quickly because I'm going to put them to the test, especially if Wynalda grinds on and on about MLS. MLS is a shit league that has it's head up it's backside.

I would have suspected that Cohen might have glanced through fan sites such as the Caf... so I hesitated to try and organize a collective conscience attack on the show, but I don't see Wynalda and the even bigger egomaniac Nick Webster taking the time to work as hard. So, if anybody wants to help me come up with ideas on what to say that might unsettle the new host - I'm open for suggestions.

He did score a nice free-kick at the 94 World Cup.

They have a 100 page thread on RAWK dedicated to making his life a misery. His comments were out of order, but the way Liverpool fans are tracking his every move to make his life hell is pretty sickening.

Cohen is such a sanctimonious Chelsea loving git. Glad he's off FFF.
he's probably the main reason I hadn't tuned in more so I'll give it another shot when Wynalda takes over.

It's pretty good for the most part. I assume you're doing the isetanta thing online, the streaming is top notch and worth it.

Presenter wise they're alright. The only one I have issue with on match days is Pat Dolan, whose giant moon face just pisses me right off.

He's been hounded out by a handful of highly motivated and intelligent people based in the US, he's an Ubercunt of the highest order, they've lobbied and canvassed the station's advertisers to the point where his position is untenable.

What's 'sickening' is his comments, followed by very public apologies then swift public reiteration of his bile, not the fact he's been fecked right off.

I never liked him, I suspect he wasn't interested in 'the beautiful game' prior to the 1990 WC and certainly wasn't a match goer at Chelsea when they were shit.

The scouse are the only set of fans that would do something like this though. Ruining the man's livelyhood doesn't fit the crime.

obviously not real scousers then

Wow, I wondered what happened to him. Wynalda did alright today, but, like every American commentator it seems, he demonstrated that he isn't closely familiar with the Premiership.

It'll be a step back for the show IMO. I must have missed Cohen's comments about Hillsborough, but it is an issue that we all have to be politic about including on this forum.

When Nick was absent from the show, Steve Cohen would spend the entire show talking about his club Chelsea. His Chelsea bias was undisguised and often glaring. But there was an authentic football banter between Nick and Steve which is what we lack on this side of the Atlantic and which an American like Eric Wynalda cannot replace.

Sadly it seems the banter became too authentic for Cohen to keep his job.

I watched the repeat, quite what I expected! Wynalda thinks Fergie has lost his bottle and is making excuses already for United this season...says United have no real weapons but thinks Valenica can be something special

Webster as always changes his opinion more than his Y fronts! Refuses to admit he is a gooner and still looks like a gormless idiot. Plus the fecking theme tune was like something out of nickelodeon, complete shocking waste of time! Plus the calls must be screened tightly because you think one person would have brought up Cohen!

he actually said that he thinks Fergie is scared! im sorry but i cant imagine anyone that knows anything about British football calling Sir Alex Ferguson scared. even the most biased of ABUs would not call Fergie scared. what would he have to be scared of? if anything everyone is scared of him. even Webster looked at him like he was a tit when he went on that rant. i let him finish his sentence then changed the channel. i dont think im going to watch FFF anymore. Cohen may have been a cnut but a lesser cnut than Wynalda.

Wynalda said the ref didn't see the body check... he was looking right fecking at it. I find it hard to believe he actually played the game.

As much as I didn't like Cohen, he was far better than Wynalda. I was glad when that fat bitter scouse cnut left the show though.

tuned in yesterday and wondered what the hell had happened. yes he was/is a chelsea loving cnut but other than that he was ok. eric is boring and nick is bad without steven to play off of. i'll won't be watching as much now.

I called the World Soccer Daily radio show, yesterday. The official stance of the Cohen people is that his contract had run out and Fox decided not to renew his contract.

Nothing more...

I wouldn't be suprised if Cohen is rehired, Wynalda is a snore.

To be fair, sounds like he deserves it. Going around calling people murderers, its not on.
