According to one of my stupid fecking scouse supporting mates.

And hes deadly serious. After a long drawn out pointless argument that I somehow allowed myself to get dragged into (I need to stop that), I asked him - Are you seriously suggesting the FSW is a better manager than Fergie?

His response - im afraid to burst your bubble, but yes he is.

Unbelievable. The stupidity of these cnuts will never cease to amaze me.....

They usually cite the fact that Rafa won the European cup in his first season as the reason

What you need to do there is point out his inability to challenge for more than one trophy at a time as evidence for him being shite.

You know pretty stupid people because just about every Liverpool fan I know (most the people I know unfortunately support them) all have had enough and want him out.

I am more than happy with Liverpool supporters thinking FSW is better than Ferguson so as long as he keeps his job at Anfield.

I know two that want him out. The rest think because he signed Torres and came 2nd last year he's obviously god.

Europa League glory will surely eclipse Fergie maybe winning the league this year.

To these Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime

So what if Pool win the Europa League and all we have is the Carling Cup.

I would be pissed off.

Why? Not like we even took part in that Cup. It's kinda like if Liverpool would win the Johnstone's Paint Trophy or whatever it's called.

I see the Europa League as a punishment to be honest (for anyone who was in the CL previously).

Yeah, I kind of agree.

But if Liverpool win it, I will be pleased. It's a trophy and a European one at that. It's good for the confidence and the players will be chuffed.

Getting dumped out of the CL ain't good, but winning the Europa League most definitely is.

Yep. It would show that despite spending millions of pounds on Antiono Valencia and Michael Owen, we werent quite good enough to win the premier league or champions league. You'd think with all that investment we'd at least do the quadrouple, but it wasnt to be.

Best manager, striker, midfield, defense, goalkeeper, yet battling for 4th. Makes sense, I know.

It's the owners' fault, from Torres being injury-prone, to Benitez spunking millions on the Aquaman and refusing to play him, it's all the owners' dirty work to undermine 'Rafa".

Yep, the owners can take a fair portion of the blame. I agree, Cal.

It's a bit of a come-down but would still be a better trophy than the Carling Cup which is probably all we'll win this year.

The Liverpool fans I know can see how bad the FSW is. I'm beginning to wonder if the "idiots" on RAWK are really United fans on a huge wind-up. The ones who still back him are just crazy really.

with houlleirs team!!

he's a prick

Yes, and you're ace.

Houllier's team? Is a team solely about who has bought them?

Nothing about how the team sets up, the tactics it employs, individual motivation etc etc of course

More real worlds and less computers for you, sonny..

I have a lot of friends that support Liverpool, none of them claims Rafa is anything but shite.

Apart from the "I have a lot of friends" part, same here.

They all think he's a loon.

As you lot have repeated ad nauseam over the last few years that Houllier's team was awful, and how Rafa has slowly improved the squad so that it's so much better than it was when he took over; please give a straight answer to this question:

If he's such a brilliant manager that he could take Houllier's awful squad to win the Champions League using his tactics and skills of motivation (refer to your point), how comes with his so much more brilliant squad he's not dominating in Europe and domestically?

I personally don't think Benitez is a brilliant manager so am not in a position to answer your question.

I am interested in your observation that our squad is brilliant though. That's an interesting view..

I have read it again, greendemon and it says "....so much more brilliant squad.."

What part did I misunderstand there?

The whole post obviously. You ought to take reading lessons.

Tell you what, to make it easier for you I will lift a direct quote from the post you seem to be misunderstanding:

That should clear up any chance of you taking a few words from the post and making them mean something quite different. I hope your English comprehension will improve, I'll help you if you want me to. ;)

Had a guy I know at work. Was talking to him about the EPL and told him Liverpool have a good team with some good players. But you'll will never win anything if you keep Rafa as boss. Too defensive blah blah blah. He looked stunned. Said he completely disagreed and that FSW was a brilliant manager.

Few weeks ago, I was talking to him and said, we need to get rid of that twat. He's screwing up our season and we'll be lucky to play in the CL ever again with him in charge.

They will see the light eventually.

You mentioned the Liverpool squad was brilliant, not me, greendemon. Or are you trying to say Liverpool fans think the squad is brilliant?

Either way, you don't really know what you are talking about
