Peep Show - Wedding. I'm laughing just thinking of it.
The best Peep Show episode is probably the stag weekend IMO.
id watch a Johnson and superhans spin off no botherI could've posted anything from season 2 in fairness, pure gold
Agree with that.Good shout. But „Pillows and Blankets“ is the best one in my opinion. I love mockumentaries.
Bunking off. That's so funnyThe Inbetweeners - Trip to Warwick is up there.
Oh yea..."BUMDER".Bunking off. That's so funny
Pretty much every scene is comedy gold.Oh yea..."BUMDER".
From that series I'd say when Frank does cocaine and it's shot from his perspective. My immediate thought was "Charlie Work" from It's Always Sunny.
Palestinian Chicken is pretty pretty pretty goodSeinfeld - Soup Nazi
Curb Your Enthusiasm - Palestinian Chicken
Is it a sitcom?
"Isn't it funny all the.. coffee"Peep Show - Wedding. I'm laughing just thinking of it.
this thread confirming Peep Show as the GOAT
This scene from Peep Show kills me.
Situational Comedy?Is it a sitcom?
I think it's because a lot of the comedy in Arrested Development runs across episodes instead of being confined within them, if that makes sense.I never liked the "Darkest Timeline" episode. I always thought it was the beginning of the show's decline. Season three introduced Inspector Spacetime and Abed suddenly got too weird. I didn't care for these things.
Arrested Development is a weird one. It's the best sitcom of all time in my opinion – even seasons four and five are decent. But I struggle to name a standout episode. They were all consistently brillant. Maybe the one where Tobias breaks into the not-so-blind chick's house?
Same sitcom but I’d go with the Pat Mustard episode where Dougal replicates the film Speed on the milk float. Genius.Had this debate at work last week and thought it would make for a good discussion here, as the title suggests, what is the funniest single episode of a sitcom in your opinion and why?
I will start with Cigarettes, Alcohol and Rollerblading - Father Ted. As a very lapsed Catholic, I remember some of the odd behaviours during lent and this episode captured all that in the most hilarious manner.
Yes. What else would it be?Is it a sitcom?
An honorable mention must go to I'm Alan Partridge - To Kill a Mocking Alan (the one with the Irish producers)
Frasier - The Ski Lodge. Farce at its finest.
You're both wrong..Frasier - Ham Radio
Political satireYes. What else would it be?
Ridiculous.You're both wrong..
Fraiser- Out with dad.
Good call on FOTCThe episode from Flight of the Conchords where they get mugged is pretty fantastic.
