Mayo are just not that good, they just always get out of Connaught because it's piss poor. They have been in 1/3 of all the finals since 1989 and won none.
They put in some amazing displays against that Dublin team when they had nothing to lose and all the pressure was on the Dubs. They claimed there was nothing between those teams, but if you pan out they were relegated in the middle of that period while Dublin obliterated records. They were momentum reliant spoilers.
They are my noisy neighbours up here so I'm fecking delighted they lost. They're appalling losers so I imagine they'd be unbearable winners.
Tyrone have better footballers, and if they or even Monaghan were in Connaught we'd not be subjected to this countrywide and media obsession with Mayo.
