I think the comparison to driving an F1 car is apt. The extent you need to be in control of all your senses and make split second reactions is likely as difficult as the technicalities of a golf swing. Otherwise I agree, the margin of error in a golf swing is unlike pretty much any other sport.
Yeah, making a split second reaction while you are sweating like a pig and having your kidneys kicked all over the place while driving 300 km/h and having your life in danger in comparision with making a decision while enjoying the nature and birds are chirping is nowhere near the same.

Not to mention you get to try to rectify your mistake on the very next swing. You don’t get that chance in motorsport, your car is fecked.

A false equivalence here. You’re comparing an F1 driver in a race to someone who is just enjoying the day? Professional golf is a tad more demanding than that.
