Oh no. Please take Ten Hag back.
Anyway, always nice to see english managers venturing outside.

Not really, they're a messNutter if true
Aren't Ajax Abit of a shambles atm?

Yeah it’s no longer the guaranteed league win I guess. Also we fans always forget his family might have zero interest in relocating to Holland, probably has kids in school etc.Aren't Ajax Abit of a shambles atm?
Didn't van der Sar leave around that Overmars thing? I think I remember there being criticism for not dealing properly with Overmars when his misdemeanor came to his knowledge or something like that?Yeah, they're 6th or 7th I believe. Got hammered by Feyenoord at the weekend. Plus they seem to keep losing staff for peculiar reasons. They sacked their DoF at the back end of last year, and their CEO last week (the one that replaced Van Der Sar last summer), both seemingly to do with insider trading if the reports are to be believed. Then there's the Overmars sexting thing from a year or so ago. I don't know if there was any controversy about Van der Sar quitting, but his departure seemed sudden as well. They've also had 5 managers since they lost Ten Hag.
I don't blame Potter for giving that mess a wide berth.
As opposed to ourselves (to a certain extent) ?
That's a bit premature is it notSaving himself for us I see.
Much like my first girlfriend, if it does happen he's going to be frustrated, disappointed and slightly damp. (it is Manchester afterall)
Actually he could prove it's possible to sort out a shitshowAjax was always a weird link, there is nothing to prove there and they are in a bad state.
I like the idea of Potter especially if we’re getting Ashworth. Two people that we know are on the same wavelength and work well together.
Won't like the idea if it's the same wavelength Moyes had with his coaching staff that he brought over from Everton.
He rejected them mateExcellent move for him and Ajax!
He rejected them mate
Or is that the joke...
I somewhat agree. We just need a manager who has a style that is pleasant on the eye and is able to get a tune out of the players which ETH has failed to do. With the correct backing and infrastructure we should be able to climb the table, while playing good football. I don't agree with others that we need a manager who's won things, we have had managers who've won things and failed!Done a damn good job at Brighton got them playing good football Chelsea are a bigger basket case than united can’t judge him on that any manager would be set up to fail I think he would a decent job at a well run united which I hope they will be next season
My relief was short-lived.
Thank feck for that. Now we just need something that rules out Southgate as well. That being said I'd have taken him if it was between him and Southgate
Same. I really hope that we’re not actually interested in them and are actually going for someone like Amorim, Inzaghi, or Nagelsmann.I really hope these Potter/Southgate rumours are just the result of some throwaway comments Ratcliffe has made to his pals that have leaked to the press. Hopefully once Ratcliffe appoints his recruitment team he steps back and lets them make the football decisions.
