MUFC Champions 2006/2007: Where will the goals com
Bellion rap for Fergie

Sunderland have issued a "hands-off" warning to Manchester United over French whizzkid David Bellion. Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to sign the 20-year-old, who becomes a free agent at the end of the season, and was looking to strike a deal before the transfer window shuts down at the end of January. A source at the Stadium of Light revealed yesterday: "We did not envisage any move in the January transfer window. Furthermore, the player is contracted to the club until the end of the season and it is not in our interests to see him leave."

if this is true this is devastating news, bellion looks like the only avaliable striker in our reach at the moment.
What you all think?
Mind you it is the daily star so it could be a load of bollocks

From here to there
I predicted back in october and again in November that we would make no signings in January and I stand by that prediction again.

* no money

* cup tied

* players back from injury are like new signings

* nobody wants to sell their best players (except Leeds of course..... step right up ladies and gents.... everything must go etc..)

NO SIGNINGS..... Dream of this and you won't be disapointed when reality sets in.

David Bellion has increased speculation linking him with a move by Manchester United by saying he wants out of Sunderland.

The French striker has been linked with a transfer-window switch to Old Trafford - even though the Black Cats say he is going nowhere.

But Bellion, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has told L'Equipe that he wants to leave before the transfer window closes because of a lack of first-team opportunities under Howard Wilkinson.

"My preference would be to stay in England," he told L'Equipe. "I like it here a lot.

"However, I would like to leave before the transfer window closes because I don't play very often for Sunderland."
