Barney isn't Barney anymore. So you're definitely not missing anything.I havent seen it in three years. Im pretty I havent missed anything. Everyone in the show is annoying as feck except Barney. I cant believe they are actually still on the air.

It used to be decent though. I haven't watched it in a long time as well.I havent seen it in three years. Im pretty I havent missed anything. Everyone in the show is annoying as feck except Barney. I cant believe they are actually still on the air.
That was terrible. I had to look away from all the cringeDoes he give up though? I bet they will put more twists in it, they can't just leave him to give up half a dozen episodes from the end, surely? Good episode, Robin flying away after Ted lets go was beyond cringeworthy sadly. Shame they didn't make Lilly feel guilty for longer too, that was so satisfying
I find her a bit weird looking.Just caught up, episode 16 was awesome.
I'm in love with Cristin Milioti. They'll burn in hell if they fcuking kill her!
He 'let go' of her and she floated away like the balloon he lost as a child.I watched up until I saw Ted and Robin walking on the beach, then I said nope, bugger this, I'm done.
good lord, I'm glad I missed that so.He 'let go' of her and she floated away like the balloon he lost as a child.
It was quite possibly the worst scene in television history.
No, nothing beats the rhymes they did in that previous episode, some of those were heartbreaking. It is up there though. He 'let go' of her and she floated away like the balloon he lost as a child.

I agree, don't think she's attractive at all, just weird. And not a good weird.I find her a bit weird looking.
I refuse to believe that they did that (haven't seen the episode yet).He 'let go' of her and she floated away like the balloon he lost as a child.

The episode is quite good in comparison to the previous episodes due to Barney continuing to be drunk, but had the cringiest scene in tv history. Basically Robin and Ted spend all of their time talking about how he loves her, then Robin tells him "you should let go", and she drifts away (literally) like a balloon, gives a cheesy smile in mid-air and vanishes. Makes you want to jump off the roof of a really really tall building watching it, never again.Anything good happen since they did the 'How I Met Your Father' episode?
Thanks dude. Probably could have saved yourself a bunch of time there by just saying 'no'!!The episode is quite good in comparison to the previous episodes due to Barney continuing to be drunk, but had the cringiest scene in tv history. Oh yeah, and Lilly and Marshall make up after he spends the entire episode talking to Lillusions (Lilly illusions). He says he's sorry, as does she and decides not to move to Italy. Possibly the biggest letdown of the show that he didn't completely go to town on her and her selfishness. Come to think of it, it was a bad episode....
It is worth just seeing it for the balloon moment. Thanks dude. Probably could have saved yourself a bunch of time there by just saying 'no'!!
That bad huh?
My flat is on the 28th floor of my building. There was a real risk the day I watched that episode...The episode is quite good in comparison to the previous episodes due to Barney continuing to be drunk, but had the cringiest scene in tv history. That moment confused me so much! So was it implying she is going to die, or that Ted's mother died before his wedding (Kind of defeats the object of the "Mother not making her daughter's wedding" statement though).
The latest episode pretty much confirms the notion that she's going to die. Shame.
Yep thought the same

Why would Ted ball it whilst she remains a rock about it? What a pussy he'd beMaybe the mother's mother died horribly right before her and Ted's wedding?
I'd be ok with that.
There's also the comment she made about not wanting Ted to be one of those people who live in stories about their past. That moment confused me so much! But if you are right there, then it goes in favour of my theory of how it all ends.
I think it implied that both Ted and the mother knew that she wouldn't be able to make it to their daughter's wedding. An illness is the most likely scenario I think. That moment confused me so much! Ahhhhhh, that is such a good point, well thought out. God, what a morbid episode that has turned out to be then!I think it implied that both Ted and the mother knew that she wouldn't be able to make it to their daughter's wedding. An illness is the most likely scenario I think.
Would be a terrible ending in itself if that's the case after 9 seasons. The only it could be worse is if Ted and Robin get together after the mother dies...
