“I’m going to wear a t-shirt with Crowded House written on the front”Since when is it weird for an adult to wear an item of clothing of their favourite sports team? Would people hold the same view for adults wearing their favourite bands T shirt? Seems an odd view to take
I think a better point is if you are an adult there’s no need to complain what they look like. We get this every other year for as long as I can remember. ‘The shirt is shit’. It’s not meant to be in Fashion Week. We all know the new shirt will be red and will have the sponsor’s logo across the front. Some teams opt for some funny away kits sometimes with I dunno, cow print or camouflage etc - but a Real Madrid home kit will always be just a white shirt, a Juve one will have black and white stripes. I never get the complaining about them personally. If you're an adult there's no reason to be wearing any football shirt
I really don't care what other people think. You shouldn't live your life like that. No matter how old you are, you should wear a football home shirt if you want. People being judgemental is one of the things I hate about modern society. I wear manchester united home shirts and couldn't give a toss if people don't approve. If you're an adult there's no reason to be wearing any football shirt
No chance. It's rubbish. Not that i intended on buying either way but even if I was, I'd hold off given that terrible design.I think it’s revolting. Someone described it as a bus seat cover and I can’t un-see it
Will you be buying?
I seriously don't get it. I don't see what's wrong with wearing your teams home shirt no matter if your 30 or in your 40's. Basically i think it's people being judgemental. It's your life. You should do what you want whether it's wearing a football shirt or something else. Currently thinking of going to University at 30 year's old due to being in a dead end job with a degree already. Am I now too old at 30 to go to University?Since when is it weird for an adult to wear an item of clothing of their favourite sports team? Of course you can do what you want. But wearing a football shirt is something you do as a youngster, whilst some older people will wear a shirt, it clearly becomes less common.I seriously don't get it. Of course there is. Not very seriously but a poor design should be mocked/called out. The whole point of a kit design is for it to look good, which is subjective of course but all the more reason for people to have a view on it. And there's no age limit to have an opinion on how good something looks whether it's a car, an actress or a football shirt.I think a better point is if you are an adult there’s no need to complain what they look like. Oh my God. What is wrong with wearing a football shirt if your not a youngster. And why care what people think if they see you wearing a football shirt. I am 30 and I wear one. You really think I care what people think. Now if someone doesn't wear one if there not a youngster is fine too. I just think it's being judgemental.Of course you can do what you want. I'm genuinely curious about the comments that adults don't wear jerseys. It's very common to wear them here. (But not full kit of cos. That's for wankers)
It's more than likely a european/culture thing, they don't wear the jerseys because only players and kids wear them. Which I find hypocritical because when the NBA/NFL is in London everyone is wearing jerseys even if the team isn't playing.Since when is it weird for an adult to wear an item of clothing of their favourite sports team? The point is, any fan can predict to 90% accuracy what the shirt will look like. Still the same reactions all the time though. During the course of the season, nobody cares.Of course there is. And on that point I don't think age matters when it comes to wearing a shirt either. I'm wearing our 08 one right now in fact. It's the comfiest thing I have other than my Kurta Pajamas!
nothing wrong with it. I use to remember the generation before me, they didn't want to wear Jordans or athletic sneakers in public because they were too old, boots, loafers and oxfords only. Now its part of general causal fashion and everyday wear.Oh my God. What is wrong with wearing a football shirt if your not a youngster. Yep it has become common to wear your sports teams shirt. I live in New Zealand and see people wear crusaders or any other Super Rugby teams home shirt in public who range from being 20 to 39 to people who are middle aged.nothing wrong with it. Yes but 10% can make all the difference in design. 08 and 18/19 are worlds apart, for example. Both are red, both have Chevrolet and United logos/emblems but one is miles better than the other. The point is, any fan can predict to 90% accuracy what the shirt will look like. Yeah, I find all this "I am too old to wear football shirts" too fecking strange to be honest. It is more "childish" to me to have a restrictive mentality like that than to actually do what you like and not what is "socially acceptable".Oh my God. I would buy it for a historic season. Good memorabiliaDoes anyone over 20 actually buy replica shirts?
