As we have been witnessing in the last two matches (West Ham and B'Burn) RVN is very very ordinary and over-hyped like hell...

1. All he can do is tap in the two yard balls (which even that, he can't do now)...

2. When was the last time he scored from outside the box?

3. How many times has he got the ball, fell over, and put his hands in the air?

4. When he out-paced or out-strenghted a defender?

5. Missing a VERY easy hat-trick against West Ham and the one-on-one vs. Freidel in the B'Burn game, what was he thinking?

6. Shown skill (U know, the Henry, Ronaldo style)

7. Kicked the ball cleanly??

8. How many goals has he scored in our recent run of good results (just a few, and 2 yard tap-ins)

9. Relied on Midfield and Silvestre for his goals, bad day for Midfield means a VERY bad day for Ruud...

10. What the hell was need for telling us that he wants to go back to PSV one day, do your stuff now boy, before you have to go very soon...

What I'm trying to say is that we need a PARTNER for RVN not an understudy....

Owen has pace,
Henry has Skill, Creativity
JFH has Long-shots
Radzinski can out pace defenders
Shearer is very consistent and a good finisher
WHAT HAS RUUD GOT?

No strenght, pace, creativity, finishing, one-on-ones, nothing!!!

Please reply if you agree or of course, disagree...

And now to the match-ratings....

Damn it I can't believe it!

Barthez - 8 Played well, made a real good save in the first half

G.Nev - 8 played exceptionally well at RB and helped keep out Duff, very solid

Wes Brown - 8 MOM Awesome and Solid

Silvestre - 5 Very ordinary and some very shocking passing, esp. near the end...

JOS - 7 Okay, not THAT impressive, but kinda okay

Giggs - 6 Rubbish, WE NEED DUFF, I guess Giggs has finally lost it!

Scholsey - 7 Very good, had too big a burden in the match, until Keano came on, had to do all the work in Midfield

P.Nev - 6 What the hell was he doing? He was awful, pathetic, not into the game at all!

Forlan - 7 I though he played quite well, dissapointed that he came off, caused a few problems

Ole - 7 Like Scholes had too much of a burden, b'cos all the guys played so crap, he was very good wherever he went

RVN - 3 What the ****?? I TOLD U HE WAS CRAP!! All he can do is 2 yard tap-ins, cannot create, no strenght, no vision, one-on-one with keeper, and still can't score, rubbish, just like he was against West Ham, SHOCKING!!!!

Subs:
Becks - 8 nice commitment we need him, he was excellent

Keano - 6 Nice to see Keano back!! I didn't expect him to be great, so let him off...

Blanc - 6 Nothing exciting, just had a few mins...

I think (dare I say it) we missed Veron!!

Dear Paz (aka possible Liverpoo fan)
Here are my answers to your qns.

As we have been witnessing in the last two matches (West Ham and B'Burn) RVN is very very ordinary and over-hyped like hell...

1. All he can do is tap in the two yard balls (which even that, he can't do now)...
>Basel ring a bell?

2. When was the last time he scored from outside the box?
>We have Scholes, Beckham, Veron for that. At least he scores unlike Owen and Heskey and Baros (except in the Worthless of course).

3. How many times has he got the ball, fell over, and put his hands in the air?
>As many times as he's been fouled.

4. When he out-paced or out-strenghted a defender?
>You ask some very strange qns. His strength is not his pace alone.

5. Missing a VERY easy hat-trick against West Ham and the one-on-one vs. Freidel in the B'Burn game, what was he thinking?
>He was thinking, I'm going to try and go past Freidel and curl it in the net.

6. Shown skill (U know, the Henry, Ronaldo style)
>Feck you. Have you already forgotten Basel??? Tricking the defender with a deft rollover and scoring from an impossible angle. Yes Basel, that crap team that the bindippers struggled against.

7. Kicked the ball cleanly??
>

8. How many goals has he scored in our recent run of good results (just a few, and 2 yard tap-ins)
>

9. Relied on Midfield and Silvestre for his goals, bad day for Midfield means a VERY bad day for Ruud...
>The more I type the more I feel the need to kick you.

10. What the hell was need for telling us that he wants to go back to PSV one day, do your stuff now boy, before you have to go very soon...

What I'm trying to say is that we need a PARTNER for RVN not an understudy....
>No, what you're trying to say is RUUD IS CRAP AND OWEN IS THE BEST STRIKER IN THE WORLD. Feck off.

Owen has pace,
Henry has Skill, Creativity
JFH has Long-shots
Radzinski can out pace defenders
Shearer is very consistent and a good finisher
WHAT HAS RUUD GOT?

No strenght, pace, creativity, finishing, one-on-ones, nothing!!!
>Then how the heck does he score??

Yo Dick,

First of all, if you are indeed a United fan ,you should be ashamed of calling yourself one. You are the typical glory seeking feckwits that the club can do with one less. Typically, your type of fan-ship is only limited to good days when everything works for United. On those days, you would be protrating before the likes of RVN and Giggsy and the praise and adoration would be overboard. On days like yesterday ( v. Blackburn ) you will take every opportunity to knock each and every United player that has let you down. Granted we didnt play well yesterday, and RVN, Giggs et al did not perform as usual, there is no reason to rant and rave like the feckwit you are. We have NO RIGHT to win every match, but our obligation as fans is to support the club and its players in ALL manner of conditions. You really are a disgrace to all genuine Red worlwide.

Secondly, if you are NOT a United supported, then a very simple question...What the fuk are doin in our FORUM? And if you do indeed support the smelly scoursers, then I 'd suggest you take a hard look a the 100 million pounds worth of shite you call a team and tell me if your team has even had a whiff of the ribbon that adorns the Premiership Trophy over the last decade? Whats that? No you say? Then fuk off and until you have won 7 out of 9 Champsionships ont he trot, dont bother giving youur useless comments here.

RVN is Fu..ing Fantastic, and I for one am happy as a United fan that we have a player of Ruuds skill, I did mention it before about Giggs not being near as good as he was before but got shot down for that. Giggs needs a time on the bench. But RVN is dynamite.

Every player will go through some periods of dip in form. Though we admittedly disappointed about Ruud's finishing during the last couple of games, he still showed amazing skills in and outside of the box, i.e. holding up the ball, turning defenders inside out, etc. I guessed he's lose a bit of confidence after the West Ham game that he tried to go around Blackburn's keeper instead of a shoot. He'll come back soon for sure.

Friedel is one of the two or three best goalkeepers in the EPL this season and i wasn't very surprised Ruud couldn't grab a goal. He seems to have lost a bit of confidence up front and to come face to face with a great GK it was always going to be difficult. He'll bounce back that's for sure.

OK? Brown's hashed clearance fell straight to Flitcroft who scored the winner...JOS played well plus also got forward and tried to get the ball in dangerous positions for RVN etc.

So why was JOS less than impressive than Brown? Yes Brown made that great ackle on Yorke but it was his mistake and not JOS that led to the goal.

Yeah, he's very ordinary and totally over-hyped. Unfortunately, no-one else could possibly want him now because he's been found out so I guess we're stuck with him. Pity us!

We should get a striker who never has an off-day, who has a better goal-scoring ratio, especially in Champions League matches, and someone who understands what it means to be a United player.

While we're at it, let's off-load Keano as well. What has he done for the last 3 months?

Sarcasm? Exactly, RVN, Keane, and Scholes for me are probably the 3 most important players for United.

Paz,

Dont overeact to yesterday's loss. For petes sake, we're only 4 points off the pace. We had enough chancess to kill off Balckburn yesterday but somehow, nothing came off for us, unlike some other games, where we've created far less and got more goals with that odd bit of luck. So just chill and take solace in the fact that we're still in it and in much healthier state of affairs than a 6 weeks back.

The question now is whether the likes of Keano, Becks , Rio and Blanc will upset the momentum that the "reserve" team has created. Giggsy certainly didnt seem happy at being substituted yesterday ( threw his skippers band at Keano ).
G.Neville and Keano are biting at each other and somehow, the the balance of the team seemed suspect at the last 15 mins of the game yesterday. We could've lost by more had Yorkie and Coley didnt cock up .

I hope SAF gets it right for the Boro game....

Barthez = 7 uncited for the goal
Silvestre= 6 lost ball easily couple of times. didnt look solid as last few weeks
Brown = 8 rock at the back and usually the one saing our ass, unlucky touch for the goal
G Neville = 7, solid as ever
Ole = 7 ran a couple of times, good movement,
P Neville = 6.5 one of his more disappointing games as veron wasnt there to pik up from him
scholes = 6.5 tried hard, but lacked the m/field play, maybe too accustomed to playing up front
giggs = 7, when utd wree on attack, he just needed to put in a decent cross but all he found was the first line of defence
Ruud= 6.5, disappointing touches, tired hard as usual, only if he could have finished
forlan = 6, good play at times, but lost ball at vital time
JOS= 7, solid as ever

bex = 7, didnt do much wrong, good crosses, has to stay out on the right all the time
keano = 6.5, just easing himself back into things, lost ball easily couple of times,

overall= a draw would have been a fair result but things didnt go our way, so we must overcome this blip.

ARM CHAIR SUPPORTER ALERT
You sir are the biggest muppet i have ever ever seen. The reason he only scores from 2-4 yards out is cos thats the way we play. That could be the problem with united, we try and walk it into the net. We play passing football, build up play, and then put it in the box for someone to apply the finish.Thats Ruud's job. He's having a few off games but even your belovved Henry and certainly that one trick wonder owen has had one aswell.
Grow up, we cant win every week. Get out your arm-chair, cos otherwise, your a disgrace to man united and 'fans' like you should be shipped of to an ireland somewhere

You cannot expect Ruud to score in every game, but I have no doubt that he will be back, as he is one of the best strikers in the PL IMHO.

Strange substitutions on Sunday. Take the emotion out of it and look at the logic. Keane on for Forlan, Beckham for Giggs and Blanc for Neville. At least two thirds of those decisions would have been the kind you would make if we were leading 1-0 and wanted to consolidate. Say what you will about Giggs and Forlan, the probability of one of those two creating one moment of brilliance to get us a goal is far higher than that of Blanc and even Keano bearing in mind his layoff. Remember Diego does have a habit of scoring late.

RVN is also human.
He will aslo make mistakes.
No not at all.
Even if Seba had played he could've done little.
Seba has been in the pitch for Arsenal 90,Depo 90
Hammers 90 Worthless cup (i think 90)..
He would've been tired he had played for nearly
5 hours excluding training in 9 days..
Giggsy was also tired..

SAF should take the blame. He should'nt have
played our full squad in the worthless .
He overworked both Giggsy and Seba
SAF should take more blame.
If keane and Beckham(atleast) are our best players
they should've started
Without Seba and Becks corners were horrible.
they should've started
