Not very familiar with either of the three, but based on positions,
Martinez
Antony
Timber

Antony has the biggest potential, by far. And he plays in a position were we really need a upgrade so Sancho can play on the left side in a 4-3-3.

Timber is player that is wonderful to watch in Eredevise, but not sure he has what is needed in PL, maybe if VVD played along sides him.

Martinez would be a good addition to our back four if we can get back Varane to WC and healthy.

All of them would be very exciting signing with the potential to make huge impact.

Martinez would be a fan favorite from day one with his technical ability and passing, together with his agression and physiquality (don't be mistaken by his his lenght, this guy constantly overpowered Haaland).

Timber would be a very important signing because with his agilty, flexibility and abilyt to come into midfield with dribbles or short passing, he could be key for Ten Hag in implementing a side which wants to dominate in possession and press with a high defense.

Antony has huge potential to be an artist on the wing who constantly bullies opponents defenders and forces them to double cover him.. He was best for us in the big games and in the Champions League and he had great number in our top games, as well as for Brazil in the games he played so far.. I have no doubt he will also deliver goals and assists.

Antony I think would have the biggest impact, but he’ll only succeed with a good attacking full back behind him.

Sancho’s issue on the right last season was the lack of link up play with AWB, where as on the left he had Shaw and together they’re quite a dangerous combo. Basically if you’re buying a new RW you need a new RB behind him.

Antony for me. A number of reasons.

1) We need our attack to be balanced. Teams have been able to neutralize us too often because all the attack is concentrated on the left. Not too many right wingers on the market.

2) I believe our defence will improve drastically once we have better midfielders playing in front of them. We def need to upgrade it, but can probably wait or get other decent defenders (Pau Torres etc)

3) Antony seems the most keen to come to us. Always a big positive.

It would have been (excuse my spelling) Gravenburch, as the few times I watched him he was class. I think he has the potential to be what Pogba was meant to be

Now it would clearly be Antony.

Timber. Him and de Jong together would be amazing.

Tricky one because have needed a left footed RW for ages so Antony is obvious choice, however do like the fact Martinez can play in a few different positions.

Martinez for me. Can play CB and DM. Anthony does seem to be a good player but not in an area where we are lacking i.e. Right Wing. Would prefer to give Amad and or Pellestri a squad spot and let them develop and invest wisely elsewhere.

Fair enough. You think he’s a better player than Timber as well?
Difficult to say. I rate them both very much, but they are really different players. Both are really comfortable on the ball though and dont panic under pressure.. Martinez is agressive, very good in the 1 on 1 technically sound, has a very good long pass and has this south american energy over him.. Timber is very agile and very quick, technically very good, dribbles and has a good short pass, he is very composed and has physicallity, but he is 19, so Martinez is more mature there..

So it depends what you want. Martinez had this Ivan Cordoba vibe and Im convinced he is good enough to start for any top club.. At the same time I think Timber has a heigher ceiling because of his pace and composure on top of his technical skills.

I would be extremely happy if I were United to get either one..

I'd ignore them all and push the boat out for De Ligt if we can. I'd rather lose Martinez to Arsenal than De Ligt to Chelsea. It looks like Timber and Antony will probably stay at Ajax.

De Ligt, De Jong and Eriksen would be a big improvement and we can build the team around the two Dutch youngsters.

Easily Martinez. Why? Visual tell more than words so:

You can see who will receive those passes and trough ball why?

Hopefully a clinical Ronaldo and Rashford. Then bang bang = goalsss

+ Martinez from Ajax
+ De Jong from Barca
+ Raphinha from Leeds
+ Eriksen from free
+ Tyrell Malacia from Feyenord

Those 4 will make United having a really really good summer transfer windown.

Let them gel together. Maybe about season 23/24 If not with Ronaldo but with another super clinical and sharp CF
And if Fred/Garner are not the answer as DCM for a premier league side. Then Declan Rice next summer

Eriksen/Bruno - Declan Rice - De Jong Then we can talk and talking about premier leauge title why?

Because with the dominance presence of Declan Rice. As the deep lying and balance CM. With the top creative and of Eriksen/Bruno & De Jong. Consistent top creative + combine with pacey and skillful wingers. But purpose for one on one and for counter attack.

With those 3 cm trio + top one of one and skill ful wingers/a baller of wingers + A top sharp and clinical CF. Ingredients and factors to go for --------lead to success-------- All the pieces of the puzzles lead to the bigger picture. Which is success/winning the league.

BUT.....Its a big BUT. We are talking only about the players and manager.

Others big factors like the owner and DOF are important as players and manager. I am not sure about that. Do not know so much about DOF and the owner.

BUT. If United can get those players. It will help a lot.

Not bothered by any of them.

We have already taken their most prized asset, and coincidentally, our best signing of the summer

Edson Alvarez.

I'm desperate for us to finally sign a DM.
I'm perplexed we hear close to nothing on his subject which makes me bit convinced United are not that keen on DM for some reason.

In terms of so called reliable journalism, Martinez is the closest we can be to someone of DM skillset.

Me to. I find it somewhat remarkable that we will seemingly go yet another transfer window withouth signing a DM, while it's been an obvius need for the last 2-3 years. I'm still hoping we do pull a rabbit out the hat and sing one though.
No idea if Alvarez would be good enough but I do like what I see from stats and YouTube.

Yeah from what has been reported Martinez seems like the only one that could be used as a DM, or at least with some track-record of playing there, but I really hope we don't sign a CB (best position) and try to shoehorn him into DM.

Is his best position CB or DM?
Definitly CB. If only because Erik ten hag has said that he is a defender and not a midfielder.

Ten Hag: “In de voorbereiding ga ik Martínez op linksback proberen. Hij heeft bij ons ook op het middenveld gespeeld, maar is een verdediger.

Translation:
In the Preparationi am going to tryout Martinez on leftback. He has played for us on the midfield, but he is a defender ( back).

If price wasn't an issue:

1. Antony
2. Martinez
3. Timber

Taking suggested prices/player interest into consideration:

1. Martinez
2. Antony
3. Timber

As an Ajacied and Dutchman I think that Martinez would be the best pick and second close after would be Anthony. Martinez is a beast. Can play as defender and cvm. Is great on the ball, great in tackling, great in positioning. He's great. Anthony is a pure right winger. He fits perfectly into an Ajax system that Ten Hag will probably want to play. I don't know how Anthony will hold up against defenders with the physical ability in the PL. Timber is a great prospect but he still has to grow. Timber is always calm and cool. When he made his debute in the national team, it looked like he played there for 10 years. Marco van Basten is his biggest fan. But he has to improve to be at PL level.

So it looks like Martinez or Antony. Which out of these two?

I would actually go for Martinez as I think VdB can play on the side of a front 3, and even Eriksen if needed. Of course Sancho and Rashford around too.

But Ten Hags high press is going to need very proactive defenders, so Martinez is huge value for the system

Lisandro Martinez - fast, composed, versatile, passionate defender entering his prime that we can use at DM or CB. The type of player United always miss out on.

Timber seems to want to stay at Ajax and develop a bit more given his age and I can't find fault in that, we can go back for him. I'm hoping we will see Bruno on the right of the attack as it looked promising in a couple of latter games last season with Mata in the 10, and it means we'll keep possession better if we get De Jong and Eriksen in the midfield 3. So I'd go for Martinez, he looks good, he's got experience and he can cover two positions we need.

It depends where it leaves us for other signings. I think we need a new right back more than either Martinez or Antony.

For example I'd take Martinez + a RB over just Antony.

I think it's easier to find a top class rightwinger than a top class defensive midfielder. There also seem to be very few possession focused rightbacks around that aren't already at big clubs.

So with that in mind, I'd go for Martinez then Timber then Antony.

Inappropriate joke
Any midfielder to replace McToilet. He is making everyone seem bad.

He leaves the defence exposed, needlessly fouls, doesn’t contribute to the attack and is just generally crap.
