Game 1 today India vs Sri Lanka..

Two idiots already in the dressing room.Oh by the way did anyone just see the lankan keeper appealing for a wide ball when the batsman had left it alone.

He soon realised he was looking like a right tit.. :houllier:

Sorry, been out of touch here in germany.
I am used to getting cricket news on the front pages ;)

Anyway, India look wank, what once looked like a team that could challenge aussies is now back to the good old days of inconsistent indian cricket.

Well they won quite comfortably against the Windies who look more like a club side than anything..poor cnuts.

IMO Dravid the best batsman in the world by a country mile though.Has been for some time.

Im pretty happy with the way wev played in both the games.
Coming off a looong break, so obviously rustyness is to be expected, both the other teams have got good practice by playing each other.

The reason i am pretty satisfied is because wev looked good in the field. Wev got the best batting line up you can ask for, at full strength. And although we folded against lanka, i expect the batting to click once sachin and saurav are back. Also importantly, its a very young batting line up, lots of experimentation happening. So it will take time to find stability. It makes us highly dependant on sehwag and dravid. And as fabulous a player sehwag is, hes not really the dependable type.

Whats been nice to see is how good our bowling and fielding has been. With the new players coming in, the ground fielding is looking good again. Yuvraj, kaif, raina are brilliant in the field. Venugopal, dravid, pathan etc as well. Harbhajan looks to have gotten over his action dillema that had been bothering him for awhile, and hes getting back to his best. Zaheer too seems to have gotten over the injuries, looks much fitter, much more determined. And same goes for pathan, our main bowler, not getting as much swing as he would in england, and hes cut down severely on the pace.. but hes bowling well. Just need to really sort out the 5th bowler issue.

Don't they have an issue at the moment where some of their players won't play because they have personal sponsorship deals with a rival company to the team's main sponsor? Shame... It's fecking up W.Indies cricket less than two years before they host a world cup.
