Third dirty foul by Digne. Should have been sent off. Two yellows and a red for that last foul

Memphis has been running the channels very well and dropping deep. Turning into a good all rounded striker.

Brazil been really disappointing tonight, Uruguay should be ahead.

Seems like they peaked under Tite a year before WC started.

Norway lucky there. Won't matter though as we could play for a week and not score.

The Dutch right back Dumfries has been top class. First time watching him.

Is he normally this good?
He's a beast, keeps on going, very strong too. But he's not the most technically gifted, played amateur football until he was 18 years old. His mentality will get him far though, he's making leaps these last few years.

The movement of Memphis has been absolutely brilliant. Lloris has made a couple of really nice saves off of him tonight. I am very impressed with Memphis as a striker, both for nation and club. Would he a huge improvement up front for United.

Netherlands have been cutting through France like butter in this second half. So glad to see the Dutch back to playing good football  As a neutral they’ve been one of my favorite teams to watch over the years, and I really want to see them get back to what they used to be.

Ampadu should have been sent off there, 100% retaliation

Fair enough he got smashed by Dolberg, but at least try to hide it

This is as good as the Dutch have looked in some time and as bad as France have looked. I'm surprised it's only 1-0 so far, Lloris saving us from an embarrassment.

The Dutch finally have a respectable team. A spine of De Ligt, Van Dijk, De Jong, Wijnaldum and Memphis is one they can build on.

Yeah, that Dumfries guy is good. Great tenacity. De Jong is seriously impressive. France's #6 is a Bakayoko. Who's he and why is he playing
