Maxwell got dropped for tonight

And they still get 287, the record score  RCB in total shambles
Yep, they’ve now just broken their 3week old record (or thereabout) of 277-3 against the MI iirc. Crazy stuff. Head and Abishek really propels them so well from the start. Sets the stage really well for the rest to come on and enjoy themselves

Team is so badly built you can’t hand over captaincy mid season and build for next. Because there’s no one.
Yes this season is a write off and probably next one too, unless they disband most/all of the squad. Literally nothing to look forward to.

Karthik, that was one of the most entertaining RCB innings in a long long time

549, most runs ever in a T20 match :houllier:
Most boundaries too i believe.

Can only happen at the toy town stadium

Sick and tired of supporting Delhi. Ponting as a pundit speaks all the right things but when as a strategist, he does everything opposite. It is like he himself doesn't know his players.

Another long boring season for delhi.
Is it too harsh to call him the Gary Neville of cricket?

The way things are going in the IPL, bowlers might as well be replaced by bowling machines.

Salt dropped on zero, second ball of the innings. Simple catch put down at backward point by Parag, too. Man has some strong muti going for him right now...

I do agree pitches have been flat and batting friendly but have to say some of the bowling has been piss poor. It seems even good bowlers have been bowling very defensive and some rubbish lines. Not a good sight overall from bowlers pov.

Yeah you know the bowling has been shit when Sunil fecking narine smacks it around opening the innings!

The thing is quality bowling has still been rewarded. Look at Bumrah or rashid or boult and narine today. Even cummins showed his class yesterday. I look at those rcb bowlers and half of them are not even interested and just want to get out of here. Pub level bowling.

Buttler is different class. He’s gonna win this.

Bit strange that Punjab's best batters bat 6, 7, 8 and one of them's out of form..

How have the sun rises gone from the most boring team in the IPL to this?

Not a fan of this, it was interesting when it happened the first time, but this is way too batting friendly, they need to fix it next season.

Sunrisers have been really entertaining. Pretty open IPL with no clear favorites.

Been a fair few monster scores this year's already, have they done anything different for this years tournament?

fecks sake that's heartbreaking, after possibly the best all round RCB performance all season

Threw it away twice. 50 off 30 was firmly their game and again 3 off 2. Amazing how every rando in the IPL is hammering Starc

Great end to that match. I’d be fuming with that middle order as well (Green, Lomror in particular). All that was needed was to knock it around and get set for a final 4-5 over assault with wickets in hand, but they simply came out swinging and threw it away.

Starc’s taking a pounding this tournament as well.

What a knock by stonis. That is a huge win for LSG. Back to back wins against CSK. The battle for 4th position is really interesting.

Another slugfest of a match here

PBKS chasing another mammoth score and are currently on track to chase it down.

What’s happening/changed this season with all these super high scores and chasing teams not doing too badly either?

I can’t believe batters have just gotten so much better and/or bowlers so much worse?
