O’Dowda in 2 years?! The lad is bloody 25 already.

One of the most pointless players I’ve ever seen. Controls a ball nicely and proceeds to never do anything with it. He’s an AM/winger who got 1 goal and 1 assist last season. He legit doesn’t actually provide anything out there.
David McGoldrick looked garbage until he was 30 years old around 2 years ago. It's all happening for him at the end of his career. There's definitely a player in O'Dowda if he can kick on and get a lucky break here and there.

McGoldrick is still garbage. It’s not all happening for him at all. He’s barely better than O’Dowda at actually doing anything. Two attackers who offer no attack. McGoldrick at least has a little link play which can’t even be said of O’Dowda complete nothingness

If our future is hitched on our attackers being McGoldrick and O’Dowda then we may as well give up because we’ll never score a goal again.

That was disappointing, would like to see obafemi added to the next squad and I think there's a place for Jack Byrnes creativity in our midfield

Good for him, Pat's are a well run club these days, he could do very well there.

Seems Dundalk tried to tempt him back as well, they are now bottom of the league with both Gartland and King gone for different reasons. Absolute mess that club.

5 year deal 'kin hell

That's a long cotract even in the likes of the top legaues it's generally 3 year deals with options etc....
Realistically he's the best manager they could hope for so it makes sense for them to tie him down for as long as possible.
