Piatek goalmeter is already ticking this morning I see.

Will Poland go two upfront to fit him in?

Parma 3-1 up now. They're going to stay up very comfortably, might even end up in the top half of the table

But thats always the case. Not Lineker's fault. But lets not kid ourselves something happened. It might not be like the entire version reported but still enough to give him enough trouble for the next months. Or years.

Now Juventus, Cancelo what a fullback he is turning into? 1 year ago didn't believe he would be more than a explosive player with permanent defensive brainfarts. Perhaps the signing of the season for Juve.
yes something happened indeed, he was silly enough to have sex with an unknown escort who set him up nicely going to the police the following day to file a complaint without naming him and then getting in touch with him to get some money. This year 10 years after seeing what is happening with metoo campaign that from a serious thing has rapidly evolved into a witch hunt she saw an opportunity to make more money given the media appetite for this type of stories and of course she was not wrong.
Lineker is an hypocrite because he took a (wrong) stance just to play into this politically correct bullshit, while I am sure he has has his own share of sex with fans and professionals in his own time, maybe he was smart enough not to sleep with an unknown one.
Of course mine are conjectures based on logical deduction from the only known facts that are that she was an escort, that she approached him and that she went voluntarily to his room, as well as that she made a report without naming him and then going to his lawyer to ask for shush money and that conveniently enough the "proofs" have been lost and she went to ask for more money this year.
One can also gulp down all the bullshit on the poor traumatised girl that abruptly found the courage (courage for what? to get rich?) to report him after the metoo furore, but that is hardly credible for a intelligent and unbiased person

No more from point of view of support he's probably got from everyone at Juventus and football being a release from all the issues off the pitch atm, that's all.

Emotional guy given he cried after the Valencia red card.
I think in Valencia he was enraged and reacted that way, yesterday he seemed a bit tense but had a good game and celebrated the goal as usual. For an average person I think it would be difficult to work under these circumstances but I believe top players must have a higher than average ability to focus on their job

The teams to watch are atalanta, napoli and sampdoria. Milan or Inter sometimes can be entertaining. Oh, and Sassuolo this season. Napoli-Sassuolo should be good

Atalanta right now?? Really??

Anyway to Fellaini barber: define me "great quality of football"???

I would say only the old and reliable given: results. Something that Serie A is getting again in the last years (as UEFA coefficients prove) at european level, the rest are just boring words.

Not to mention Liverpool or Spurs already lost there too for such a easy league as described by some here.

Just noticed that Alfredo Donnarumma, an older brother of Gianluigi Donnarumma, has scored 7 in 7 in Serie B. With Antonio Donnarumma being a reserve goalkeeper at Milan, all three brother are making money as professional football players. Quite interesting. I remember Pogba's brothers aalso being professionals. Not sure how they are doing.

So much for random fact of the day.

Alfredo is actually not related to the Milan goalies! Just happens to share the same name.

Ha, I was surprised that I did not know of this "brother" before. Turns out I missread a biography about Antonio when I checked whether Alfredo was another brother of Gigio D.

Inter win a weird game. Spal dominated most of it forcing a punishing pace, yet they spent almost all of it losing

Another win for Inter, now third in Serie A.

Icardi with his 2 goals tonight has scored his 103th goal at Inter, reaching Vieri on the 7th spot of the classification of the top Inter scorers of all the time, incredible numbers for a 25 years old.

Spal have mostly garbage players(they have no good strikers and their CBs are atrocious), but they're good. Their manager is doing an amazing job.

Yeah, but he never could play in CL until this year, because he played in a very bad team (Inter Milan). This is why his reputation as international player is not very good. For personal reasons he could not play for his national team (Argentina), too.

Yeah, staying up again would be great for them. Chievo and Frosinone are basically gone. The 3rd to get relegated is a big question mark.

D'Anna is about to be sacked by Chievo, and guess who's primed to take over? None other than the disgrace that is Giampiero Ventura.

This team is amazing. Missed both Gervinho and Inglese and still beat one of the best home side in the league 3-1. Great credits to the manager Roberto D'Aversa who seems to be more suited to Serie A than Serie B.

Chievo have sacked their manager Lorenzo D'Anna. Chievo are currently bottom of the league and winless in 8. They are also on -1 points
Genoa have sacked their manager Davide Ballardini (again). Genoa are 11th, having won 4 out of 7 (losing the other three). Ivan Juric (for the third time) is manager of Genoa

According to GloboEsporte, tier 1, Flamengo have accepted Milan's offer of €35 million + bonuses for attacking midfielder, Lucas Paquetà. He is scheduled for a medical in the week.

I know nothing about this guy but the Brazilian's reactions on Twitter and Reddit have got me excited. Really hope he does well and we get rid of Bakayoko

The Fiver said:
One of the best things about being a tycoon who has made a fortune from manufacturing action figures and such like is, The Fiver imagines, that you can fling toys out of prams with giddy abandon. Few people take advantage of that perk as vigorously as Enrico Preziosi, owner of Genoa and founder of the Giochi Preziosi toy-making behemoth. Whenever the 70-year-old is angry or has wind, he expresses his discomfort by throwing out one of his favourite playthings – a life-size football manager usually named Davide Ballardini, who has spent much of his career being hurled to and fro by Preziosi.

Always a good bet to win the Serie A sack race, Ballardini became the first manager to be turfed out of a club in Italy’s top-flight this season despite the fact that Genoa are in a far-from-alarming 11th place in the table. “I consider him to be a terrible coach,” waaahed Preziosi by way of justification, adding: “He has been fired 13 times in 14 seasons. Only at Sambenedettese in Serie C did he manage to see out a season.”

Thus ended Ballardini’s third stint as a manager under Preziosi. “Ballardini is a wonderful person but he doesn’t know how to put his players on the pitch, he can’t do anything,” screeched Preziosi, stamping his feet and convincing absolutely no one that he won’t be engaging Ballardini again in three months’ time. Before then, however, he has moved to hire Ivan Juric, the manager he sacked twice in the 2016-17 season before appointing Ballardini for a third stint. “Juric is a positive coach and it was my mistake to confirm Ballardini at the end of last season,” blubbed Preziosi, who is at least big enough to own up to errors. He has even admitted in the past that he goofed by getting involved in football at all, telling Il Foglio in August that “it was a sin of vanity – if I could go back, I wouldn’t do it again.”

Genoa are not the only club that Preziosi has run. He used to be the mastermind at Como, where he at least demonstrated that he is no worse a judge of managers than he is of players. “We had Lionel Messi on trial when he was 15,” revealed Preziosi in 2010. “We rejected him. Sometimes you make errors, that’s what happens.”

I have seen a short video with highlights of this player. It is clear that he knows how to kick a ball, but if he ever tries to play in Italy in the same way as he is used to do in Brazil, he is going to be executed by a (journalist's) firing squad after his first match.

Ready to take Zamparini’s “coach eater” title: Genoa president and toy industry mogul Enrico Preziosi.

17 Feb 2017: Tells haters to lay off coach Ivan Juric. “These fans insult us all. I believe in Juric, we have a rapport built on affection. He’s a great guy.”
19 Feb 2017: Sacks him, hires Andrea Mandorlini: “We couldn’t go on like that. I should have done this sooner.”
10 Apr 2017: Sacks Mandorlini, rehires Juric.
6 Nov 2017: Sacks Juric, hires former manager Davide Ballardini for a third spell: “I had to sack Juric. We couldn’t go on like that.”
8 Oct 2018: Sacks Ballardini, rehires Juric. “Ballardini’s terrible. He makes a terrible team, he can’t do anything. We couldn’t go on like that.”
Preziosi’s message to the doubters: “Fans can say what they want. I don’t need their approval when I make my decisions. I’ve been in football 30 years and, believe me, I’m not crazy.”
Preziosi is another Zamparini. Sacking the managers for fun.
Preziosi took over Genoa in June 2003. There have been 21 managerial changes
Zamparini took over Palermo in the summer of 2002. There have been 42 managerial changes

This season Palermo have sacked already their manager (Bruno Tedino) 5 games into the season (P5 W2 D2 L1), and replaced with Roberto Stellone (who himself was sacked at the end of last season)

Juventus 1-1 Genoa FT
Ronaldo scores for Juventus, but Bessa equalied for Genoa on the 67th minute. Juventus 100% record is over, but remain undefeated.
Good result for Ivan Juric in his first game as Genoa manager:D
