Would be a massive upgrade and wouldn't have to put up with the constant flirting from De Gea

I'd be more than happy. Will cost much more than we get for DDG though.

Would you be happy?

He’d cost an absolute fortune, possibly the best keeper in the world. I’d say we have more urgent issues that’d need addressing. Are lots of decent keepers that can be gotten for less than half what Oblak would cost.

Upgrading on De Gea once upon a time seemed impossible, this would be an upgrade though and if DDG is being difficult with the contract negotiations something we should 100% be looking at

I love DDG but his head is gone and he's not committed; to be able to replace him with Oblak who actually wants to be here would be ideal.

Assuming it's accurate, obviously.

Yeah we aren't paying 120m euros for a keeper. Not in a million years.

If De Gea was to leave, he'd be the one keeper I think would be worth the price & would perform as well as De Gea has for us.

@RedSky did some extremely good GK stats in the alisson thread I think and Oblak was top on most.
Correct. They're a year old now but see below, worth noting his distribution isn't great:

---------------------

This is the top 10 from all 113 goalkeepers in the list on top of page 5. He's pretty damn good based on last seasons stats, one of the best in Europe and understandable why his price tag is so huge.

Long Range Passing Accuracy:
Player Name - Amount of Passes - Accuracy
  1. Alphonse Areola - 146 - 57.5%
  2. Wojciech Szczesny - 203 - 55.7%
  3. Alisson - 495 - 55.4%
  4. Pepe Reina - 419 - 54.2%
  5. Ederson - 280 - 52.5%
  6. Antonio Mirante - 757 - 51.8%
  7. Marc-André ter Stegen - 444 - 51.6%
  8. Kepa Arrizabalaga - 714 - 51.5%
  9. Thomas Strakosha - 577 - 51%
  10. Gianluigi Donnarumma - 490 - 50.6%

Goals Conceded Every x Mins:

Player Name - Goals Conceded - Every Min
  1. Wojciech Szczesny - 9 - 170.0mins
  2. Jan Oblak - 22 - 151.4mins
  3. Gianluigi Buffon - 14 - 133.1mins
  4. Ederson - 26 - 122.9mins
  5. Alphonse Areola - 25 - 122.4mins
  6. Loris Karius - 14 - 122.1mins
  7. Alisson - 28 - 118.9mins
  8. Marc-André ter Stegen - 28 - 118.9mins
  9. David De Gea - 28 - 118.9mins
  10. Pepe Reina - 29 - 114.8mins

Shots to Goal Percentage:

Player Name - Total Shots - Goal Percentage
  1. Jan Oblak - 127 - 17.3%
  2. David De Gea - 142 - 19.7%
  3. Alisson - 135 - 20.7%
  4. Marc-André ter Stegen - 126 - 22.2%
  5. Neto - 143 - 23.1%
  6. Ron-Robert Zieler - 155 - 23.2%
  7. Nick Pope - 146 - 24%
  8. Régis Gurtner - 171 - 24%
  9. Gianluigi Buffon - 58 - 24.1%

Didn't know he was a Unites fan. I'd actively sell David for him, he's a monster in the box and will have Buffon / VDS longevity while David looks as if he's on the brink of a Casillas drop in quality.
