Happy to see him doing well, and content with the decision to sell him.
Messi and Ronaldo would probably struggle in LVGs system. If we had still been playing 442 or something like that he would have worked for us but theres no way in hell he fits into any LVG formation
That's disturbing.He's...he's...he's not ours anymore
No WE about it at all, its LVG. He ruins strikers. Got rid of Chica, turned Rooney into a ghost, loaned Wilson, and is now ruining Martial. The way we play. We need our strikers in the build-up.
Well, it's strange that 3 managers didn't rate him as good enough to be a regular starter. People who worked with him every day.A good few of us could see it last summer. When a player delivers like he did in his first season for us, and then gets little opportunity to reprise that, it's short-sighted to ship him out based on the fact he hasn't delivered. He never had a run as poor as Rooney's, so where's the logic.
Jesus. Is that really how you see it?No WE about it at all, its LVG. He ruins strikers. Got rid of Chica, turned Rooney into a ghost, loaned Wilson, and is now ruining Martial.
Ruining Martial? Where did you come up with that one? Absolutely bizarre statement. No WE about it at all, its LVG. He ruins strikers. Got rid of Chica, turned Rooney into a ghost, loaned Wilson, and is now ruining Martial.
So he's what 3 goals away from equalling his goal return from the 73 games he played for United and Real Madrid prior to his move?Since he left United Chico's scored 15
http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/20284557 Bit harsh that he had this one chalked offScored a hat trick in 13 minutes vs Borussia M'gladbach.
17 goals in 20 matches now (and 15 goals in the last 12). I believe it's his first club career hat-trick, too.
Yeah I remember that one, came in as a second half sub. I think he took the ball, too. Good times.http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/20284557 Bit harsh that he had this one chalked off
Us or Real Madrid apparently.Hernandez is great when he has a supply line and reason to be confident.
We gave him neither.
He was good for Real Madrid when he played.Us or Real Madrid apparently.
In the worst spell of his career and he still had about a one in three record. Less if we want to actually look at minutes played. I'd kill for that now.Us or Real Madrid apparently.
He was good for Real Madrid when he played.
The stats I'm looking at may be wrong, if so feel free to correct me, but it looks like he managed to equal his goal return under Moyes, but in 2 games less at Madrid. In the worst spell of his career and he still had about a one in three record. Less if we want to actually look at minutes played. I'd kill for that now.
Yeah I still don´t get where the myth comes from he wasn´t good at Madrid. His scoring points per minutes average for Madrid in La Liga was 2nd to Ronaldo, ahead of Benzema, Bale and everybody else. You look at all the former United players like Chicarito, DiMaria, Kagawa, Nani and so on. At some point you might have to ask yourself whether you and who in your organisation is the problem? And truthfully speaking hearing the same old "not good enough for United" rhetoric does not seem to fit, when most of these play outstanding at clubs that perform at a higher level than United for the last 2-3 years. He was good for Real Madrid when he played.
Right decision to let him go. There's no place for goals in modern football. Possession is all that matters.'Not good enough for us' scored another three times today. 17 goals in 20 matches for Leverkusen so far.
running is the new possession, let's see what our running stats are vs bournemouthRight decision to let him go. There's no place for goals in modern football. Possession is all that matters.
When we let Forlan go, we had Nistelrooy and then we signed Rooney and Saha. It's happened before and it'll happen again. Rossi, Forlan, Pogba and Pique are examples of players that were deemed surplus to requirements here and then excelled in another league. We need to let go. Glad he's doing well.
The funny thing is that actually his all round game now (and last year too) hasn't been bad at all. He is far from the poacher that he was in his first days here. He is quite decent at passing and crossing. While he still can't dribble, his all round game is better than Rooney's and he works his socks in the pitch. It doesn't matter if you bang in an average of more than a goal a game, if you can't pass sideways then you're not good enough for us.
