Yeah he'll stay another year now Lkusen are in CL again. If we just could buy him
And really, that's absurd, isn't it? Bayern continually having a free run to Bundesliga talents with seemingly no opposition from the likes of us.
Sane? De Bruyne?
We haven't even signed many (notable) players from the Bundesliga in recent years. Only Goretzka, Hummels and Süle come to mind.
I think he is probably the player I want most in the world even over DeLigt and Sancho. When he eventually signs for one of Europe’s elite I’m going to be heart broken.
Hmm wouldnt be sure about that, having never watched havertz play I can safely say Sancho is the better player.
My thoughts entirely. Hell, I’d trade pogba for him now, no questions asked. (I don’t mean a literal swap deal, I know pogba ain’t going to Bayer).I think he is probably the player I want most in the world even over DeLigt and Sancho. Would love if he went to Dortmund. He would be a star.
Oh didn't know that. That sucks Dortmund would of been great for him but he is so talented I am sure he will end up at Bayern.Dortmund can't afford him. He won't go for less than 100m (we already bid 90m and got rejected). Hopefully he will join us, I'd break the bank for him if I was Hoeneß. Destined to be a world-class player if he isn't close to one already.
Did Voeller say recent they want to sell him abroad if he goes? Thought I read that somewhere although I know if he insists on going to Bayern there isn’t much he can do. Very few top German players seem to abroad.Dortmund can't afford him. He won't go for less than 100m (we already bid 90m and got rejected). Yeah, coming to think of it, he could go for less if he moves to a foreign club. Völler hates us and surely would bleed us dry if he were to go to us. Like with Vidal I could see him going for way less if he decides to move abroad
Bit of a weird one because as good as Dortmund are it’s a bit of a side step really is it not. It’s not like Leverkusen are paupers. They have good players and a decent team in general. I would think if and when he moves it’ll be to one of the big teams.Oh didn't know that. That sucks Dortmund would of been great for him but he is so talented I am sure he will end up at Bayern.
I can see that point for sure but I feel at Dortmund he would have more exposure he would play European football he would play in a great system. At Bayern there is more pressure to succeed immediately where as at Dortmund he would be able to grow more patiently. Dortmund always seem to me like a stepping stone club, a bit like Spurs really.
I mean I would say is pretty much ready to go he finished Leverkusen top scorer and broke a Bundesliga record being the youngest player ever to score 17 goals.I can see that point for sure but I feel at Dortmund he would have more exposure he would play European football he would play in a great system. What makes you think he won’t leave? Is that the report coming from Germany? Would be good for him and Bayer if he stayed 1 more season.I mean I would say is pretty much ready to go he finished Leverkusen top scorer and broke a Bundesliga record being the youngest player ever to score 17 goals.
I do however think as you say if he was at Dortmund already he’d probably have more European exposure as I said in this thread and another one earlier it seems like he has gone under the radar a bit and maybe that is in part to everyone being obsessed with Sancho.
Leverkusen will be in the champions league next year as they finished 4th. Might have a qualifying match, not sure. Anyway I don’t see him moving this summer so his profile might have risen by this time next year.

There are only a few teams that could afford him and most of those teams have players in those positions that are good. No reports, just my own opinions. What makes you think he won’t leave? Is that the report coming from Germany? Would be good for him and Bayer if he stayed 1 more season.
First teenager to score 17 goals in a single Bundesliga season. Think he had 4 assists in the league but it was 20 goals and 7 assists in all competitions.17 goals that's insane

Is he a CAM or a RW or a CM when it comes to the long term future role in your eyes?
Could he play alongside Pogba if we had a complete defensive minded anchor man for example?
I’m not sure but my hindrance is more Pogba than Havertz @Zehner might be able to give you a better opinion than mine on that but initial impression is probably not.
@Aloysius's Back 3 what Zehner has just said is pretty much the way I’d be leaning as well as in Pogba is the problem as I think you need a guy more like Herrera who will sacrifice his game for Pogba whilst still having a DM and I just don’t think Pogba is that great in working space with others. So for me it’d be a bit of a waste of Havertz talents.Havertz and Brandt both played as 8/10 hybrids under Bosz. Bosz deploys them in a very aimilar fashion to how Pep plays Bernardo, de Bruyne and Silva.
I don't think he'd fit particularly well to Pogba. But maybe that's me as I don't like him as a player and think his style of play is like the antithesis to the system Havertz looked best in. For all his technique and strength I believe Pogba isn't a very intelligent midfielder with bad decision making.

However if we are in for Fernandes I see the same issue occurring and if we are going to plod ahead and try it I’d rather get Havertz than Fernandes and if Pogba decides to leave next year no big we have Havertz.
Havertz is more a striker than a playmaker (Brandt).
Goals
Havertz: 20
Brandt: 10
Assists
Havertz: 6
Brandt: 12
Keypasses
Havertz: 1.1
Brandt: 2.1
Total shots
Havertz: 2.7
Brandt: 1.8
Maybe Havertz can become more dominant in midfield but i don´t see that to be given.

When you say technical I wouldn’t say he is like a D.Silva, B.silva, Iniesta or the likes. They make the comparison in that video of bits of Ballack and Kroos. He does have a decent eye for a pass and can work patterns but for me he is probably more In the mould of a midfielder of the likes of Lampard, Ballack but he can also do a lot of the more suttle stuff like you’d see from say an Ozil or Kaka. He’s just a really promising looking player and it would be madness to not be seriously looking at him.Okay I see so Havertz is a technical player with a particular attacking ability that may get lose if Pogba is doing the same thing?
I think Pogba's attacking ability is overrated and needs to concentrate the way he plays for France - a simplified game of both the dirty work and the slight flair.

I don’t think Pep for example would want him in say his system but he could probably do a job there.
I’m not making a direct comparison with Lampard I was just using that as sort of an example of I think he is better being a bit more direct and ghosting in to the box and so on instead of the build up and passing you’d see from someone like a Silva, Iniesta and the likes.Disagree. He's nothing like Lampard etc. The only similarity to Ballack is that he's remarably dangerous with his head for a midfielder and a good shot taker from outside the box. But not even in the slightest does he have Ballacks physicality and strength.
I'd actually say he's the perfevt Pep player and that's because he flourished immensely under Bosz who plays a very similar system to Guardiola.
I do agree he's no Bernardo or David Silva since he lacks their low center of gravity. But he's a very elegant and technical player, like Zidane, Özil, Laudrup, Iniesta, Riquelme, Cruyff or Kaka.

I think Bosz’s system might have similarities but for me I don’t think Havertz would be the typical sort of player that pep would look at and think that’s my guy. Maybe Brandt but not so much Havertz but then you’ve seen I would imagine a lot more of him than me.
