Well since I last made this thread (quite a while ago I might add) we have now had two victories that have been snatched from the jaws of defeat. Earlier we had us turning a 2-0 deficit at the City Ground into a 3-2 victory against Forest and tonight has added another comeback victory. It's astounding that even in the midst of what has arguably been an abysmal campaign so far, we have still managed to pull out extraordinary comebacks from nowhere. This result tonight makes it an even 10 matches that have seen us turn a 2-0 defeat into an incredible 3-2 win.
14 total comebacks from a 2 goal deficit in the league apparently.

The full list:

3-2 away at City in 93/94
5-3 away at Spurs in 2001
4-2 away at Everton in 2007 (Chris Eagles!)
5-2 at home vs Spurs in 2009
4-2 away at West Ham in 2011
3-2 away at Blackpool in 2011
3-2 away at Villa in 2012
3-2 away at Hull in 2013
3-2 away at Palace in 2018
3-2 away at City in 2018
3-2 at home vs Newcastle in 2018
3-2 away at Southampton in 2020
3-2 at home vs Forest earlier this season
3-2 at home vs Villa today

Fascinating but not wholly unexpected that 10 out of 14 of two goal deficits have ended up 3-2. Also of all of those victories, only one came about in the 90's. I guess that's a general statement of our dominance during that period.

Aren’t you forgetting Scott’s two injury-time goals against Brentford?

Edit: Sorry, realised you were referencing two goal deficits.

Old Trafford actually (the horror!), not the City ground. We go there on Saturday. Hopefully just a nice cushy win. I've had my share of palpitations tonight.

Yeah we've had many great fightbacks in the past of many varieties in fairness.

Yeah I must have got confused with the venue of our next match so will edit accordingly.

No. They led 2-0 until our comeback started around the hour mark. We scored five goals in about twenty minutes. Game was crazy.
Yeah that was a crazy one. Was that the one with Nani's goal that riled everyone up cause people thought he was interfering with a goalkick? That was gas.

Yep should have said 2 goal or more deficit.
Yeah, I've tried to set a theme here with this thread based on specific instance. Which is arguably confusing I suppose.

The Nani one was in 2010
