Why would they loan him out this season and then let him leave on a free next?

Surely if he is going then it’s on a sale now?

A few things being missed here.

If he doesn't go, PSG will make him sit on the bench all season.

How come Real Madrid are being offered him for 150m but the Saudi's are going to pay 250m?

It's not just going to Saudi Arabia for a year, it's a pre-payment for a 5-7 year career at Newcastle afterwards.

As if the Saudi's would invest 1 billion in a player for one year. It might have an option after a year to go to Madrid, but then as planned Newcastle would "hijack" the deal.

Journalists should be all over this fraud. Perfect way for Saudis/Newcastle to get around FFP.
What an absolute idiotic post. Awful.

It was mentioned that they would get a high loan fee for the season.
I don’t know, if it differs from country to country, but in Germany you cannot even loan out a play when then contract ends at the end of the season.

Mbappe to Madrid
Neymar to Barcelona

Will be a sweet end for all parties involved

Barca and Madrid need the star names to revive them and PSG need to offload

No thank you. We don't need him for football reasons, nor for marketing reasons. He can stay in Paris and keep playing CS:GO there.

Mbappe's biggest error was to write the ketter stating he won't sign an extension. He should have kept quiet, finished the season and than moved out.

He sent that letter so he can maintain his public stance of respecting his contract and not wanting to leave while forcing PSG's hand to sell. He either gets his move or 80M and a disgusting signing bonus from Real. Whatever happens he has already won.

But it was totally unnecessary.

There will almost certainly be a flurry of deadline day bids from chancers should things remain as they are until then. The longer it drags on, theoretically, the more the financial terms become more realistic as PSG lose leverage.

Come end of August, bids of less than €100m will be going in for sure. Possibly even as low as half of that.

Cannot have him end up at a league rival

I think Neymar would be a terrible idea.

As if PsG wouldn't have asked for confirmation about his intentions. Bit given how stupid they are, quite a possibility!

Will he sign a contract extension with any team other than Madrid?
Surely no team will pay big money for him if he is going to walk away on a free next year.

PSG are trying to get something for him now even if its a loan fee. They know mbappe has agreed a free transfer to madrid.

Don't think it really makes sense for many teams. For the money he'd cost the team would need to be on the verge of challenging for something big and just need a little push. Arsenal and Bayern are the only European teams I can think of, the rest would need a lot more than just Mbappe to get to where they want to be. Those two obviously don't have that kind of money anyway considering what they have already spent and are still considering spending this window.

Still have no idea how he'd fit in at Real with Vinicius. In an ideal world, Mbappé would play on the right (like he did when he initially rocked up at PSG) which would also allow Benz/Endrick to play through the middle when he arrives. But methinks Kylian wouldn't take kindly to that.

At this point in time it seems only appropriate for me to leak here that my Sunday league team has also been in conversations with Mbappés entourage about the possibility of him joining us on a one year loan deal. While we cannot match the wage package the Qatari's or Saudi's offer, we can offer something they cannot which is a weekly craft beer box containing 6-8. assorted ales, porters and bitters from a local source. We play a very traditional 4-4-2 with a deep lying defense firmly anchored in front of our box (and likes it to remain that way throughout the game) but would be willing to sacrifice our playing style for Kylian. Our moms and wags are a lively lot that would surely enjoy having a laugh with Kylian and family from the sideline, provided kickoff time is not before 10 am on Sunday's.

We think the positive PR from joining us would far outweigh the lost revenue in joining other leagues. We fancy our chances, and think we have as good of a shot as the MLS or Chelsea in convincing Kylian and his entourage.

 don't fool yourself, he'd ruin the balance of your side with his antics and would block the development pathway of your academy.

Mbappe gets like 80 mill loyalty bonuses or something like that doesnt he? Plus if he goes on a free he will get a huge sign on bonus. Wouldnt be surprised if its 100 mill plus. Leaving now will loose him millions. Why go? And who is willing to pay 80 mill + wages to loan him? Maybe PSG are willing to pay the bonus but even then who is willing to pay 650 - 1 mill a week or whatever he's on then loose him in a year? Only Saudis can do this. I see both him and Neymar in the Saudi league soon even if it's just for a year. Where else?

It'd certainly be a challenge for our current main striker Big Jos' to transport himself onto the end of one of Mbappe's crosses. But sacrifices have to be made and Jos will be fine as long as there is beer at the end of it.

I'm not surprised they're forced up to make out and shake hands.
I guess it's gonna be a deal of dunces, if at all. Mbappé picking up the one year extension to allow PSG to set up the sale next summer, something like that. Probably getting another bonus to sweeten it.

PSG had a strong window, everyone benefits from Mbappé playing.

Reintegrated in the first team for Sunday per L'Équipe.
