Only God knows.Varane not even on the bench. Why?

Yeah how many more times,Casemiro's injury is unfortunately why he is starting gamesMcTominay starting again is tragic.
Why is that? If we're running hard in training, maybe we're doing something wrong. Newcastle had 3 tough games with the same team, played 90 mins without subs just days earlier vs PSG. Yet they still outrun us. And if they're not following orders, why are the majority starting every game?and yet… Newcastle ran circles around us.
"Injured"Varane not even on the bench. Why?
He’s been terrible and was an embarrassment in the last game, probably means he’ll score tonight and get another long run of games.McTominay starting again is tragic.
Crazy, because ETH has bought a bunch of midfielders as well. 3 of them are injured, though. Our is our midfield so poor?! After all the money we’ve spent. We’ve got the worse midfield out of the top 5. An abandoned position for years
Mainoo just has to start this one.We are going to lose. Scott with another disappearing act.
Probably injured as usualVarane not even on the bench. Why?
Aye, Mainoo and Amrabat was the midfield I wanted to see, I can understand the manager wanting to manage Kobbie’s minutes though. Let’s hope McTominay can actually hit double figures for passes completed but I suspect he’ll go hiding as per usual.McTominay starting again is tragic.
Mr invisible i dont touch the ball… no wonder we have never control in midfield. I dont get it.Still no repercussions to McTominay's godawful performance. When he gets into this team it's always almost impossible to drop him.
Not having a go at you but missing our starting central midfield and central defence partnership from last season all this season does explain some of our issues. Our is our midfield so poor?! After all the money we’ve spent. We’ve got the worse midfield out of the top 5. An abandoned position for years
A lot of people are saying this, but ten Hag clearly doesn't see or want Mainoo as an 8 type of player to play in the half spaces, but rather prefers him as a first phase player, and actually, I do, too.Mainoo next to Amrabat would've been alright
What changes would you have made?Such a weak line up, I can’t believe it. Don’t think we win this game.
hopefully this team has a performance locked up somewhere- we desperately need some wins.
scotts late winners seem to have got him a permanent place in the midfield- and don’t know where Mount is!!
Wouldn't have played anyway.Tweet

No I don't think he is. He's just out in the cold I think? Maybe someone knows different?Just about to ask this question. Wasn't aware he was injured?
I see your point, I think he persists with Maguire for his goal threatA lot of people are saying this, but ten Hag clearly doesn't see or want Mainoo as an 8 type of player to play in the half spaces, but rather prefers him as a first phase player, and actually, I do, too.
I think, the fact that ten Hag bought Mount tells you everything about the type of profile he wanted in midfield, i.e. running off the ball, goals, etc. McTominay, whether people like him or not, is the closest profile to Mount, and I believe that's exactly why he's in there.
Constructive. And insightful. The manager needs to go, I reckon.
You're right, but that's the worrying part. That he still thinks this setup will work with the options we have. It was more about us hoping ten Hag would change the setup rather than using Mainoo as an attack minded 8.A lot of people are saying this, but ten Hag clearly doesn't see or want Mainoo as an 8 type of player to play in the half spaces, but rather prefers him as a first phase player, and actually, I do, too.
