That was knee full onto post. Hope he is ok. Having a really good game
But the whistle did go, didn’t it?What the feck, why did the stupid cnuts all stop when the whistle didn’t go?!
NoBut the whistle did go, didn’t it?
must be hearing things. So nearly a Barthez style offside goal againNah there was no whistle until after the ball was in the net, we just switched off though stupidly. Lucky it was given.
Flag was up quite early. Why did De Gea not bother to save it?
I heard itBut the whistle did go, didn’t it?
Save face decision hopefully.Looked clearly onside.
I screamed literally. He should have saved it anyway. Took huge huge gamble there ddg.Why did De Gea not bother to save it?
Lindelof could have done more as well. Both him and De Gea should have been playing for the whistle instead of the offside flagWhy did De Gea not bother to save it?
The flag was up, but don't think whistle was actually blownBut the whistle did go, didn’t it?
Yep if he goes with his right foot it’s a goalmartial was too slow there... went with wrong foot. again I say he is not a natural goal scorer
He's trying to compete with something as contrived as "And it's live"Neville with the fecking "Ooooooh" ffs
Not before the ball was in the netI heard it
I heard a whistle, the players all stopped as well
The lineman's not supposed to put up his flag if it's marginal, though is he?You have to carry on playing now, knowing that VAR could look at it, its no longer "play to the whistle"
Playing the new rules that were introduced in the Everton game.united crowd is funny.. about the 5th time they've shouted for handball when it's hit a city player's foot!
Why not with this ref/VAR combo, appeal for everything.united crowd is funny.. about the 5th time they've shouted for handball when it's hit a city player's foot!
It was clean, unfortunately. If Martial had slid in it would have been a goal.I’d like to see that replay again. Did Ederson get any of the ball?
I thought I heard it before he even shot: was going to say he should have been booked for playing onNot before the ball was in the net
They stopped because the flag went upI heard a whistle, the players all stopped as well
The "linesman" should always keep their flag down if it's close.Another feck up by VAR it wasnt offside, Agüero’s goal should have stayed, but the lineman got the flag up and De Gea stop playing.
There’s a loophole there for VAR
They're supposed to put the flag up but if it's a goal scoring opportunity then the ref shouldn't blow until they score/don't. It was imlpemented fine we just stupidly stopped and got a bit lucky.Strange that the linesman put his flag up in the air so quick while you cant even be sure of offside when VAR is used...
