I'm sorry but I just can't feel happy about this after letting that last goal go in for them. To begin with we should have won this by 5 goals - EASILY. To let them get the last word and a small smile on Moyes lips makes me feel ILL. Call me childish or whatever you want - I'm not pleased.

It was on target and could quite easily have gone in.
Their GK is having a very good day today.
He's done this plenty of times and it's always saved by the keeper or gets blocked off by the wall. He needs to add something in his routine to keep them guessing.

WHO CARES WHETHER MKHYTARYAN'S GOAL WAS OFFSIDE?

It was a great finish, a finish for the ages, a goal that will be replayed again and again and honestly IT IS ABOUT TIME WE GOT AN UNJUST GOAL!

The fact that it was unjust makes it EVEN BETTER!

I mean we got that offside handball goal last game, but that was balanced out with the legit one we scored that was called off

But Rooney's was lucky tbf, unless shinning it in constitutes brilliance now?
He did exactly what he intended to do except he was a few inches short of his laces. He got great height, connected with the ball with pace and put it in the top corner in a massive match against one of our toughest opponents. What's not brilliant about that?

What could we have done about Borini's finish?

It was a stunning goal. Almost as good as Mhkhtaryan's goal.

We still won the game comfortably, so it was just entertainment.

Why did Jose bring on Fellaini instead of Rashford, Smalling or Darmian?

Could it have been just to rub salt in the wounds of Moyes? :)

WE ARE IN RED HOT FORM RIGHT NOW AND IT IS GREAT!

Mkyhtaryan needs to start every game in place of Lingard, him, Mata and Zlatan should form the front three. That front three will give ANY team problems.

    We are rocking!

    It was near his knee!

    Get a grip. Seriously.

We could have won it by 5, but we didn't, we won it by 2 goals. Borini's shot was a total worldie so not much we could have done. And let them get the last word? Hardly, they lost the game and got dominated from start to finish.

I'm fed up of seeing folk throw their toys out the pram. Be thankful that we're playing attacking football and scoring goals.

It's not nonsense. For all of his faults, Rooney is a direct player.
direct maybe but shit too, if you count his little spell as successful than the standard must have dropped really low in your mind.. i don'tget it just because he played extremely sub par a united player due to his bigger than club reputation means that we should rate him... just bullshit, we are playing in the premier league ffs..

Great post. No one was at fault for Borini's goal, it was a great strike, and as football fans we should appreciate good technique even if it comes from the opposition. Besides, it was an inconsequential goal that did nothing in terms of the result. We played so well that the outcome of the game was never in any doubt.

We are playing excellent football at the moment. We aren't just grinding out wins, we are playing very good football.

We now have Mkhitaryan and Zlatan who are purists in every sense - they play football the way it should be played. To ENTERTAIN. That is a very refreshing approach that should make us proud to be UTD fans. We are uncompromising in terms of our principles and we are capable of winning while playing great football.

That goal from Mkhitaryan was one for the ages! The goal of the season no doubt!

How refreshing to have that finally? It seems a lifetime ago.

Yes, it is indeed refreshing. What is even more refreshing is that we have an exciting, creative front three that has a penchant for the spectacular, who actually care about entertaining.

That is the true Man United legacy and tradition.

I was beginning to get worried about how much I relished seeing Gollum in a deep depressed state and quivering on the bench

Gogo Man Utd!! I'm drunk as feck, didn't even see the game.

WHO cares about a goal conceded? We won, 3 points in the bag and i'm a happy kid.

I love you all, merry xmas. We are going places for sure!!

Sometimes I feel like this too, but it really wasn't that kind of game. We didn't batter them - for 60, even 70 minutes they were very compact and organised and Anichebe and Defoe gave us a fair few scares between them too. We were never in danger of losing this game but a massive scoreline would have been unfair on them. 3-1 seems about right to me.

Does anybody know a website that shows you a teams average positions (average formation kind of thing)

I want to see this for the Sunderland match
