He’s not a substitute but Carrick will be on the bench this afternoon, here’s what Mourinho has told MUTV:

Where have you got this from? Utter rubbish. This is Rashford's minutes since Alexis has arrived and that's not even considering that Martial has been injured for the last few weeks, missing Palace and Liverpool. If this is significantly more, I don't know what to say.

My intention wasn't to draw comparisons between Rashford and Martial's overall gametime since the signing of Sancez, or their respective performance levels during that period, I was actually referring to their gametime in their preferred position on the pitch. Martial has been shunted over to the right in order to make Sanchez' transitional period that much easier, which would be fine if the latter happened to be performing at a level that would justify that decision, yet he clearly has not.

You cannot deny the signing of Sanchez has been detrimental to Martial's progression.
