That was one of the worst games I can remember. The game reminds me of the 6-1 thumping we got from City years ago after Johnny Evans got sent off.
Just to see Paddy Evra rip someone's head off afterwards!Anyone still watching?
No chance!Bye Ole
I want a 100% wage donation towards Rashford's campaign.I want an apology from each and every player.
Nah, even in that match they scored 3 of those goals in the last couple of minutes after we pulled one back and started throwing everyone forward to try scrape a draw. This is another level of capitulation. That 6-1 City night all over again.
Who thought top four was 'nailed on' without any signings?I hope the people on here who think top four is nailed on give there heads wobble. We are a farce.
Given our performance, I consider not doing anything better than actively doing things to cost us goalsDon’t forget Shaw
This is on the manager playing him. He has a decent player on the bench and refused to play him. Please for the love of God just sell this clown already. Club started rotting as soon as he came back.
Agree players are obssed with social media, there reading all the carp we've been reading , it's effecting them no matter what they say. I think the Glazers have gone back on there plans for the club, since the pandemic. It's not that Ole's lost the players respect. It's that the players have realised there's no sporting project. There's nothing that they are working towards, besides maybe making up the numbers in the Champions League.
As you say, many of them have seen this before with Jose. They know how this ends. I am sure many of them are privately thinking that they don't wanna be part of the next Man Utd boom and bust cycle. If you are ambitious you wanna be somewhere where you think your ambitions will be met.
His assessment of Pogba has always been spot on. He’s a fecking useless footballer. At least Souness as something to get his teeth into at FT.
I agree. I've always been Ole in, but he does make poor decisions regarding team selection. We played the same team for a number of matches after lockdown, when he should have been making just one or two changes for each game. Trying to fit Pogba and Bruno in a three man midfield is a disaster in my opinion, we tried against Brighton, and were sadly lacking, Pogba was very very poor, and Matic is to slow to close down players, or cover their runs, Brighton could have beaten us, but against a far better side we play exactly the same midfield. Bailly deserves to start in my opinion, but Maguire has not looked like a domineering CB since his court case, perhaps Lindelof should be alongside Bailly. Both full backs look like they've been told to tuck in next to the CB's, which doesn't make sense. Rather than not being coached, they look to me like they being coached to play a certain way, which they're not doing, so they are falling between two stools.Ole is not the problem, Woodward and the Glazers are. Ole came in and stabilized the ship but the club was saying they had a long term project however as soon as Ole got a good result in Paris all the talk about not appointing a DOF before summer was out through the window.
The club makes up as it goes no wonder we are woefully prepared for anything. We find it difficult just to assess what this squad needs and spend a whole summer chasing a player we have no intention of paying for when what we needed, if we are playing a 4-2-3-1 with Pogba and Fernandes, was a top DM and a top CB to cover for the £80m dud that we bought last summer.
He might not be a United's player at this point in time but surely we're doing our outmost to become his level instead. He doesn't deserve to wear the badge
Souness will be getting ready for full-time.Well people wanted more tackles from Pogba.
I would agree this result on its own should not make the difference, but we are not progressing. We got third but 66pts was the same as previous season.Nonsense.
Excellent idea.I want a 100% wage donation towards Rashford's campaign.
What an insult to a person rated in the Guinness book of records as one of the best coaches/manager in English footie post war in McMenemy. Christ the snake oil sales man calling himself a manager in ogs would learn a few things from himI love Ole and I disagree with most of the negative stuff that’s posted about him but we have not looked good this season. Carrick and McKenna look like Phil Neal and Lawrie McMenemy.
