If he's back in 4 or 5, Utd will still have several games left, cup finals are later this year
David Beckham vs Deportivo Lacoruna 2002, Duscher's two footed tackle.Isn't the metatarsal the Injury Rooney had which kept him out of the beginning of a tournament for England
That's very good news. They should avoid to rush his recovery at all costs though, we saw what happened with Neymar.
It was Ferrara, I remember very well, Rooney was on through on goal, then the tackle. Then the infamous Rooney screaming. No it was Ferrara I’m sure … Carvalho was just next to the incident I spent months cursing Carvalho cz I thought it was him but then I realised it wasn’t
So no Martinez, Maguire and Varane for the Brighton semi-final
If it's his Achilles then he's done. Like proper done, no one comes back from that
Career, not just season
Try career
Achilles is a career ender, not just a long term injury
It's a career ender, go and check players who have had the injury previously then wobble your head
If you're not ready to hear the truth thats on you
Six weeks? We've come a long way.
We need more 'ard men like you in the teamStrap it up and get him back on the pitch on Sunday. Only his little toe FFS
Yep, silly to think he will play any part in the remainder of the season. Sucks, but as you said, it's a hell of a lot better than what it looked like. His season is probably finished. He’ll be fit and raring to go for pre season, which is more than most of us could have wished for last night.
Ten Hag: I have an idea what it is but I don’t cause speculationI did? People said it was his Achilles and that he was out for the season, I said season? Try career.
Not really sure why you're laughing either, most people thought it was his Achilles based on what they saw, irrespective of what Robbie Savage thought on the matter.
But of course you knew better all along right? Couldn't have possibly been his Achilles last night could it? Where was this confidence before Ten Hag said he doesn't think it's his Achilles?
It was the jump to the absolute worst scenario which was ridiculousCareer altering is more appropriate perhaps. Lots of players who suffer than injury come back at a much lower level.
Not sure serious it is but he has been complaining about it for a few weeks apparently.Do we actually know if Varane has an injury? I know he came off, but he did play on, it can't be that bad.
why did they think that? He clutched the top of his foot, not his heel. When I read Ten Hag responding that it wasn't his achilles I thought that was weird, becuase I was wondering who thought their achilles was on the top of their foot?I did? People said it was his Achilles and that he was out for the season, I said season? Try career.

Scorchio.
Rooney was out for 6 weeks when he fractured his. Let’s hope this is the same outcome.
Yes, an Achilles rupture is a career ender. We've established that multiple times even though you're extremely reluctant to accept it for some reason.Ten Hag: I have an idea what it is but I don’t cause speculation
You (multiple times): It’s a career ender
I think it was the nature of how he went down with no one around him. In that instance it's not an impact injury, so that would normally rule out a break, he didn't look like he rolled his ankle so that rules out a sprain, the only thing you're left to presume is that a tendon has popped, and he was holding his ankle/back of his heel, so anyone presuming that was the case at the time has very good reason to do so I'd say.why did they think that? He clutched the top of his foot, not his heel. Or Shaw! Glaziers investment laid bareSo no Martinez, Maguire and Varane for the Brighton semi-final

I don’t trust the source about Martinez’s injury. Better to hear it from United.hope he isnt rushed back. dont know if i am right but in my recognition rooney had problems throughout his career after rushing back from this to play in the wc

But I think Rooney’s was a more serious metatarsal injury than the one the source attributes to Martinez.
