£62m is too much but if we can get him for under £50m I'd take him.
Wolves signed him for £44m, his value has gone up by more than 15% since.

I think you're making far too much of this stat. What percentage of time did Cunha spend walking last season when he scored 12 league goals? Or do you prefer players who buzz around all over the place and produce nothing? It isn't impossible for players to improve certain aspects of their game. Perhaps Amorim can get more out of Cunha in that sense. And I wouldn't have minded Rashford scored 20+ goals each season and Sancho bringing his Dortmund form with him but unfortunately, football doesn't work like that.
And if that stat is true that he's spent 77% of games walking, that's a massive red flag right there.
And how is any #9 going to get you 20+ league goals in a side that ranks 19 in the league for chances created in key metrics? He’s a fantastic player, however for everyone who quoted me saying no.10 is a priority… we’re skint.
The best no.9 on the market who can get you 20+ league goals has to be the priority over Rasmus in his current starter form or we are nowhere.
Where do we have the money to get that, and another 10 and some legs in midfield seeing how erikson et al are gone in the summer another wingback potentially and the consistent goalkeeper elephant in the room.
We aren’t going to get hundreds of millions for garnacho, and honestly I like our depth there with mount, amad, mainoo zirkzee, I don’t see it as the reason we are completely incapable of buying a win.
I'm happy to believe it's just a lazy narrative, but I would just note that if it is then it's one a lot of Wolves fans seem to have bought into too. His attitude seems to get quite a bit of criticism from their fans, especially given he is obviously their best player. It might be unfair, but it's there.
He’s been their key player, saving wolves games after games but recently wolves managed to get 3 wins in a row while he’s suspended.I’ve heard about him a lot this season, even before United were linked, but haven’t watched him.
How good has he been?
Are Wolves getting relegated?

So do you think Fernandes as one of the 10s is good enough? I think he looks a considerably better player in the deeper position, and certainly amongst our best players. This would mean we would put our basket on Fernandes being Ugarte first choice partner in midfield. I don't know if that's gonna be good enough.
Before this, my summer transfer preference would be GK-CM-ST in that order.
Head in cornflakesCunha, Osimhen, Frimpong, Ederson and a keeper. Sorted.
Thank you! He’s been their key player, saving wolves games after games but recently wolves managed to get 3 wins in a row while he’s suspended.
He plays exactly in the same system as Amorim’s system the L10 but also played as striker few games when their no 9 was injured. He understood his L10 role very well. Very good in tight space and very good in protecting the ball, he often drops deep to receive the ball and carry the ball forward, very good in dribbling the ball, has pace, can score with both feet, volley, and long range, he’s at 183cm height, has good work rate on the pitch. He can score and assist.
I feel like I’m watching prime Martial but with good work rate on the pitch willing to press and help in defending. He will be perfect L10 for us with Amad as R10. That will get me excited to watch next season Cunha and Amad will be quality and work well together.
Wolves won’t be relegated.
Delap won’t be coming in as Zirkzee’s backup. He would obviously be first choice. On paper, spending £92.5m on two attacking players is good but we're skint. If we can sell Sancho and Rashford for good prices then maybe this could work.
I really like Cunha and even though he's not a high goal scorer he has a good balance between creating and scoring goals.
A front three of Cunha Zirkzee Amad is pretty good. Delap as backup striker with Bruno and Garnacho being back up wide options can work especially if Garnacho remembers how to play football. Chido is there as a wildcard too.
I know some will say it isn't good enough still but we need to take incremental steps in getting to where we want.
Cunha and Delap also seriously improves our pace and power up front.
I like Oihan Sancet (tall, great at hold up play, passing, pressing, drops deep at times but also strong in the box), but his release clause is around 69m, so I guess also difficult in our financial situation. He's scored 13 league goals in 22 games this season for Bilbao, is younger and less hotheaded than Cunha and also a hard working teamplayer.Who do you have in mind
surely as a left sided no.10I've not watched him and to be honest I've rarely watched games apart from United ones this season.
Where would he play? As one of the 8s or the 9? He doesn't strike me as a striker that would suit our formation. So would he be taking one of the Garna/Bruno spot?
Seriously think those are more important to improve on than the 9.
Is there a Grana spot? Cunha would play on the left behing the striker but he could also play up front in a similar way to Zirkzee but a bit more effectively.I've not watched him and to be honest I've rarely watched games apart from United ones this season.

Sorry yes I meant 10, not 8surely as a left sided no.10
Yes pleaseCunha, Osimhen, Frimpong, Ederson and a keeper. Sorted.
This guy is only a year younger, has scored the same amount of goals and it's in a different league. I think City will buy him as part of their ‘let’s buy everyone and keep the ones we like’ rebuild strategy, or Liverpool get him to add to their attacking options. It doesnt work like that imo. He was signed for a lot of money and after a slower start with 2 goals and 0 assists in 12 starts and 6 sub appearances, is now worth it 2 seasons later. Is he worth a lot more? I dont think so
£50 million he'll have some interest. He might even find a spot at a top team
£62.5 million I think is a great number for Wolves. If a team is desperate for quality creativity and some goals they might pay it. But I think most of the better clubs will pass. Wolves only need 1 club to bite the bullet
Yea but I still prefer him. I like his attitude more and he looks like a profile that will certainly suit the EPL. Xavi Simons is another option who's in top form nowadays. This guy is only a year younger, has scored the same amount of goals and it's in a different league. I think this is probably the best we can hope for and will absolutely be an improvement. Might be an outlay of 30m after selling Garna if we can somehow get 60 for him. Not sure we will sell Hojlund as we don't have enough strikers.Him and Delap compared to Hojlund and Garnacho, now aggression, ability to carry the ball forward, physicality, decision making.
These are very good signs that we're looking in the right direction imo.
Cunha doesn't scream physicality or hard work by any stretch of the imaginationHim and Delap compared to Hojlund and Garnacho, now aggression, ability to carry the ball forward, physicality, decision making.

Cunhas ball carrying is elite.Cunha doesn't scream physicality or hard work by any stretch of the imagination
I'll predict Utd and Chelsea will be interested but wont want to pay the release and Wolves will hold to a figure somewhat close to it. Arsenal, City and Liverpool dont come in. Then Bayern comes in and signs him for less than the release
Did you miss our game vs Wolves, people talk about his defensive numbers but work ethic isn't just on the defensive side, he ran rings around our players. Someone who can dribble, resist challenges, shoot and pass like him and also run behind the defence of opponent is just what we need.Cunha doesn't scream physicality or hard work by any stretch of the imagination
How many players have you seen turn up against United, but then flatter to deceive the next following games against weaker teams? It's a story as old as time.Did you miss our game vs Wolves, people talk about his defensive numbers but work ethic isn't just on the defensive side, he ran rings around our players. Well he's been doing it consistently the last two seasons so?How many players have you seen turn up against United, but then flatter to deceive the next following games against weaker teams? It's a story as old as time.
