Probably the best woman I've seen play. I met her in Georgetown DC earlier this year. Fantastic lady and really down to earth. With all due respect too, she has an amazing arse :p

I saw her earlier this year when Washington came to Atlanta. She was totally amazing, great vision and speed. Her team wasn't too good overall, while Atlanta had a pretty decent team, so she didn't have the support she needed.

I went to see Atlanta Beat play a few times, mainly because my 7-year-old son was starting to say things about what boys could do and girls couldn't do. Mia Hamm stopped him from saying that girls couldn't play football, that's for sure!

Besides her football qualities, she is totally amazingly beautiful! I was totally stunned by the paradox: she looked like an angel but she had all the dirty tricks one might expect from ugly bastards like Scholes ;) :)

They can, and when it comes to the US football scene I'd say that the women play football but the men they still play soccer ;) <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

who's the Aussie socceroo girl with the big knockers? I could train one against one try through balls with her ;)

I'll also give an honorary mention to Laura Kalmari (HJK) and Mikael Forssell's sister Christina who is the captain of the HJK ladies, see below.

Mia Hamm is a typical prima donna, adequate speed, good offensive skills, at least in the open field, has some ability to get herself clear, but totally useless when well marked or in a crowd. Also virtually invisible when the other team has the ball.

Oh my god, I really hope that you were joking mate. I've seen better than that in the kebab shop at 2.30am on the way home after a night out. You obviously don't get out much. I've seen some fine Finnish women, I can't beleive that you come from Finland and you rate these ones!

You're thinking of Brianna Scurry, Atlanta's keeper, this guy was talking about Mia Hamm ;)

There's a difference?

Actually, I noticed Hamm's style because my daughter is the premier striker on her U-12 side, and she plays the same way.

redinsyd, we´ll the pictures dont do justice for either of the girls (Christina has the firmest, nicest... you catch my drift ;) ).

You're right there are FAR better looking chicks in Finland but I was talking about footballers so I can understand your shock :)

Btw, have you seen the Panos Emporio shoe advert
featuring Janina Frostell with nothing much on?
pheeeeew...
