Anyone know the players going?

This is the new "apparently Fabio is supposed to be even better than Rafael"

The good old days. Still remember seeing them play for the reserves and it being clear immediately both were on another level. Shame fabio couldn't match his brother as it would have been fun having both on either sides.

Samuel O’Brien & Jariyah Shah scored the goals against Monaco.

With the exception of Shah all our players I’ve seen at the tournament are club U14s (late ‘09 or early ‘10 born).

U15s lost 3-0 to Inter in their second group game.

Benfica beat Monaco 1-0 in the other game so we sit 3rd in the group going into the last game against Benfica. Worth mentioning every single team qualifies for the quarter finals so we don't necessarily need a result, although avoiding one of the better teams in the other group would be nice.

United beat Benfica 4-2 in their final group game.

Also, the game against Inter yesterday was actually a 2-0 loss.

Quarter-Finals:

FC Bayern Munich (1st Group A) – AS Monaco (4th Group B)

Tottenham Hotspur (4th Group A) v Inter Milan (1st Group B)

Juventus (2nd Group A) - Benfica (3rd Group B)

Olympique Lyon (3rd Group A) - Manchester United (2nd Group B) - 18:30

United U14s are at the BOAL International Tournament in The Netherlands this weekend.

Results so far:

0-0 vs Club Brugge
1-1 vs AZ Alkmaar
2-1 vs Dortmund
2-0 vs Velje BK

Schedule here: https://www.tournify.nl/live/boal2023/standings

Interesting to see a completely random (to me at least) Brazilian team leading group B ahead of a number of big clubs.

We have done a lot of good stuff lately, but yet again I question our plan for many of our youngsters. Shoretire, Fernandez, Hannibal, Mengi etc... what's the plan? We have only one player on loan, and the only reason is that Hibernian pushed for Fish again.

More than a week later, still only Fish on loan (only because of the connection with Hibernian from last season), and Hannibal, Mengi etc still running around losing with the U21. Brilliant management.

Agree its poor but given some of their respective performances in u21 football do you think clubs will be clamouring for our youngsters? Mcneil and Shoretire dropped in to Leagues One and Two last year and struggled. Hannibal did ok but his wages will be too high for many depending on the clubs demands

We cover wages.

U15s finished the Elite Cup with a penalty loss against Inter after a 1-1 draw and then a 1-0 loss to Monaco. They ended up 8th, although partly because of the weird format.

U14s finished the BOAL International Tournament in 7th with a record of 5 wins, 3 draws & 1 loss.

Wonder what's up with JJ Gabriel. All of our youth teams were in international tournaments this weekend but it seems like he was training individually and watching the Barca game.

I know he finished the season injured, missing the national final, so maybe he's still recovering from that?

US striker who also has a Croatian passport, played in the NYCFC academy in the states. Moved to Croatia earlier this year, refusing offers from Dortmund, Atlético and Leipzig.

Apparently a host of big clubs in Europe are interested in him.

Guess it makes sense with low wages as we lost and haven't replaced Kovář, but ultimately he's never going to be good enough for United.
