----------De Gea/New Gk
New RB, Varane, Martinez, Malacia
----Fred--Eriksen Casemiro
=--Antony-----------Sancho
--------------Martial

If we were allowed to be unrealistic it would be FDJ as well for Fred. Otherwise this is my team for sure in a 4-3-3, pretty fecking baller on paper depending on the RB and GK situation, lots of technicality and energy throughout the team.

On paper, we are getting to a starting eleven that you would expect to finish in the top four. Right back and striker remains the biggest weak spots for me.

Feel like this is good enough for top 4.

if we get champions league and a FA Cup/Europa League win, we'll have a lot of players to choose from next summer.

Depends on the opponent.

Usually. I'd play.

.....................................De Gea...............................
Dalot..................Varane...........Martinez...............Malacia
.......................Casemiro................Eriksen.....................
Anthony............................Bruno.............................Sancho
.........................................Ronaldo...................................

Actually a pretty good team IMO.

Key players from the bench / Regular players for cups:

Shaw
Mctom
Rashford
Elanga
Martial
Maguire
Lindelof
Fred
AWB

It's the best squad we've had in a long time.

A good striker in the summer + maybe another addition and things look more positive than they have for a while.

AWB is that you?? Seriously though, AWB hasn’t got hardly a sniff in the team because he has the technical ability of a sea urchin. How did you manage to choose him over Dalot?
edit: I just realized this post is a troll and I took the bait. Fair play

I don't trust Fred or McTominay, Rashford is reliably ineffective and Ronaldo is too slow and selfish.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
For now:

---------------------------De Gea-------------------------
--Dalot------Varane-----Martinez---Malacia--
--------------Eriksen-------Casemiro-----------------
---Antony-----------Bruno------------Sancho----
------------------------Martial-------------------------

However, there are a lot of positions up for grabs. I honestly have no idea how good Dubravka is but hopefully he'll be able to push De Gea. If Shaw gets back to anything close to his best he's better than anything Malacia has shown so far, but unfortunately that is looking increasingly unlikely. And obviously Eriksen, Bruno, Fred and McTominay will rotate in those two positions depending on who's in better form, the opposition, and simply who combines well together. Martial will hopefully take that striker role as when he's playing well he is such an important figure, with a tendency to help our other attackers (and the rest of the team to a lesser extent) look a lot better. But if not then I do think Ronaldo will still be fairly good once he gets up to speed, as long as we don't overplay him like we did in the middle of last season.

Post-transfer window our best eleven is:

-----------------------De Gea----------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
--------------Varane----Martinez--------------
Dalot-------------------------------------Malacia
----------------------------------------------------------
---------------------Casemiro----------------------
-------------Bruno------------Eriksen------------
-----------------------------------------------------------
Antony-------------------------------------Sancho
----------------------Ronaldo------------------------

Anyone who thinks that Anthony Martial at his very best gives us a better chance of scoring than a fully-fit Cristiano Ronaldo is simply outside of their minds.

Ronnie isn't what he used to be, but among this lot of strikers he's the best chance of scoring by a wide margin.

It depends on the opposition. But for most teams:

DDG
Dalot Varane Martinez Malacia
Casemiro
Eriksen Bruno
Antony Ronaldo Sancho

With fred and martial very close to replacing eriksen and ronaldo.

I think our best starting 11 players in each position is maybe different to our best starting 11 as a team.

Dubravka (on paper at least)

Malacia
Varane
Martinez
Dalot

Casemiro
Eriksen

Sancho
Bruno
Antony

Martial

I believe Ronaldo is better than Martial, but I think he has too much of a negative effect on too many, hence me excluding him.

Agree with the line up. Shaws to inconsistent for me so I’d keep Malacia. It’s his position to lose now… he’s showed fight and energy every game so far.

Ronaldo will probably score more goals than Martial, but the team as a whole will likely score more with Martial. Will likely also concede less as his hold-up play will enable the team to withstand pressure better. When he's in form Martial tends to knit our entire attacking play together and brings the best out of our other attackers. The big issue of course is that he's been terrible for two seasons and is looking quite injury prone now.

Indeed I think the best way to get the most out of Ronaldo would also be to partner Martial, but we don't play with two strikers and I don't know if Ronaldo is capable of playing on the wing anymore.

This with the current players we have. Although, I'd like to see Eriksen play where Bruno does. I feel Bruno is very wasteful.

Not sure about Martial or Rashford but just think we function better as a team with them rather than ronaldo.

Also worry about the lack of physicality of Casemiro-Eriksen but would be best footballing option

I'd be surprised if this isn't Ten Hag's starting 11. Back 5 is doing well, Casemiro and Antony cost a ton, Bruno is wild and gives the ball aways but the team is too short of goals without him and he does provide energy. Front 3 picks itself if Martial is healthy unless one of Cristiano or Rashford starts playing better.
