No chance ole going anywhere until we look like champs league qualification is out of reach. The glazers are only bothered when their cash cow is in in danger of losing money and the Ronnie signing bumped up their profits quite nicely for them to sit tight for at least 5 months yet - they’ve just given a 3 year contract for phelan for example - no chance are they paying him and the rest up on their contracts just yet. Strap in guys - it’s going to be a bumpy ride….
United supporters are saintly wet tissues when compared to the demanding matchgoing fans at Real, Bayern and Barca.
The match going fans opinion doesn't matter either for the board. Only thing that matters is results.
If online noise played a significant factor, Ole would have been gone a long time ago. #OleOut has trended on Twitter after pretty much every defeat over the last 3 years and forums like this are renowned for overreactions. If/when Ole gets the chop, it will be due to performances on the pitch.

I can’t claim to be a loyal Ole backer as I wanted Poch in a year ago but now that ship has sailed and Ole somewhat turned it around last season, I’d rather just hold out until the summer to see how this season actually goes. It would be a different matter if there was a manager available now who I was confident was the right fit for us given the mess over the last 8 years since Fergie.

Genuinely hard to predict. I mean, I know it will happen after Bruce is “thanked” for his years of service, but whether he’ll outlast Ranieri is anyone’s guess. But I wouldn’t put it past him to prove us all wrong and finish 2nd in the league again, as well as getting a runner-up place in Europa. So there.

It is. Ed Woodward makes all the final decisions on transfers and he is an accountant and the de facto Chief Executive of the club. And his remit is quite transparently first and foremost to put cash in the Glazers' pocket. Anyone who thinks otherwise, or that Ole would go against his wishes in any shape or form, is quite simply not paying attention.
Seeing how it goes due to the landscape of the managerial market as I see it, yes. In my experiences I’ve found that sometimes no decision is the best decision in certain situations.

And Ole going against the ownership of the club would be pretty silly when he's been backed with significant funds to shape the squad over the last 2 to 3 years.

Ed is literally on the record as saying he signs off the money on transfers. So if he doesn't sign them off, they don't happen. I don't see how much clearer it could be. I mean I could sign Jack Grealish for a million pounds a week to do my gardening but unless someone pays him I have a funny feeling it won't come to much.

So you want to waste another season and this array of talent we have? For what? You want the club to be successful or the manager? Or the manager to be succesful no matter what it costs the club?
I would not mind having five new managers in the next decade if it means we win trophies that keep us relevant rather than become a footnote like Milan. We need to be ruthless. Not indulge in pointless nostalgia. Success breeds success and the same goes with mediocrity which is what has happened at our club.

The club issuing a statement regarding Ole's future is a bad sign for him. They're obligated to say they aren't looking for a new manager because it's highly unethical to do so while they currently have one under their employ. They also have to publicly support the manager so as not to affect the player's performances etc. It's all smoke and mirrors. The ESL move was a disaster for the owners' public image, the last thing they want to do is cause further damage to it by handling this situation poorly.

Him signing off on deals is normal and is the job of the CEO at most clubs. But there is numerous reports that he only does that after getting the go ahead from Joel Glazer who controls every aspect of the club when it comes to the money side.
So the above is normal at most big clubs and we can also say the board/CEO at Bayern, Liverpool, Real Madrid, City etc also sign off on the money when it comes to transfers.

Chelsea did the same with Lampard but were smart enough to pull the trigger when they did. Bayern the same, albeit to a lesser extent with Kovac. We are several years behind them in the boardroom and a few more on the football pitch.
Relax pal, not sure how you've inferred anything you said in this post from what I said. Pretty simple to understand my position - I don't see an obvious available better alternative that I personally think is worth the potential mess of sacking mid-season. As mentioned, I wanted Poch in this time last year as I thought he was a great fit for us and the timing was good but that was then and this is now.
