when is the point of no return?Great game. One of my favourites of last year.
It needs a new game plus though. You can miss some collectibles on your way through and you can't go back for them.
I think there are multiple missing ones in Ginso Tree, Farlorn Ruins, and the Misty Woods. I wouldn't worry about them though. They're only important if you want to 100 percent it. Plus you could always go for that stuff in another play through.when is the point of no return?
My 2015 GOTY as well. Top 20 of all time. Stunning game. Was my GOTY last year.
The new game+ would be nice though
on 99% of the map uncovered in the ginso tree because i missed some random corner of a room and can't get back to it.
Really polished, solid and well put together though. Always felt like it was my own fault when i died and never felt unfair or cheap.
Bet you still think it was awesome thoughJust completed that ginso tree
My hands hurt
Puzzles don't really exist. It's exploration through action - Classic metroidvania. Is it more puzzle-based or simple exploration/action?
It's great. I think I died about that many times tooWhat a fantastic game, just completed it
803 deaths
But fairly annoyed at my xbone....7 or 8 achievements have failed to unlock for no apparent reason. It's says completed and unlocking but no score
Hmm, might not be my cup of tea. Will still give it a try.Puzzles don't really exist. It's exploration through action - Classic metroidvania.
It really is worth it. And don't worry about dying loads, I did ridiculous amounts, though I literally try everything there is to do over and overHmm, might not be my cup of tea. Will still give it a try.
Although it's fantastic in many aspects, its the music that stood out the most to me,especially during that water tree escape. The second is supposed to be tougher, i have just started it. I don't like the changes they made, especially with the combat but i love everything else.Been playing through this the last few days. What a game. Really tough at points. That tree escape, jeez.
Feels like a real accomplishment to have finished it. Used loads of walkthrough vids in the second half of it though. More to make sure I was going the right way and not pissing about too much than working out how to traverse it exactly, which is part of the fun. No idea how anyone could find their way around Mount Horu without help, or at least without getting majorly fed up. Never put it on easy for the checkpoints on the escapes though, even though I was very tempted to at one point.
Is Will of the Wisps harder/easier/the same? I started it a while back before realising this came first so will restart soon.
Yeah the music is incredible. It really mounts the pressure on, when in reality you don’t even need to rush that much to escape the tree as the water slows down when you do.Although it's fantastic in many aspects, its the music that stood out the most to me,especially during that water tree escape. First thought playing Hollow Knight about a month ago was this is quite like Ori. So yeah, worth a goIs this like Hollow Knight? I really miss that game and need a replacement
How did you find the difficulty in comparison to this one? Not sure I could handle more frustrationI love this game. The second is even better and absolutely stunning in 4K at 120fps.
I didn't really find Will of the Wisps frustrating at all...a couple of difficulty spikes but I would say it was easier than the first. Of course, it might just be because I was more experienced with it but...How did you find the difficulty in comparison to this one? Not sure I could handle more frustration
That’s good. Just started it again. Hate that bash has changed to LB. Also much preferred saving where you want. Now I don’t know if I’ve done x if I die and keep having to talk to the same moki before a tough bit.I didn't really find Will of the Wisps frustrating at all...a couple of difficulty spikes but I would say it was easier than the first. Yeah deffo. Just had the first chase. Maybe it’s just because I’m more used to the mechanics now but I nearly did it first tryWOTW is definitely easier. I played it straight after the first and found it .. not easy.. but definitely less frustrating.
The chase sequences are definitely way easier, at the least.
