Of course it doesn't have a different meaning. Laziness isn't limited to physical application. If you can't be bothered to turn up to work on time, your approach to the task at hand is can be deemed as lazy one. You seem to be set on a very niche and trivial aspect of the debate here.

Not sure if you are serious. Players do suffer injury you know. Not every player is Phil Jones. Don't you think Dembele isn't insanely talented?

Loan with obligation to buy for 40-50m is too good a deal to pass even if we get Sancho. We need options and too many of our players have no competition for their position.
Jones was insanely talented. What do we get from talent when he isn't available for most part?

We actually need a RW who is available to play. Just google Dembele's injury history. Why can't people not see the obvious? Its like people are just wanting to ignore the obvious and believe that everything will be rosy.

This is the last club where you should expect players to stay injury free.

Another injury prone player. Why do we keep doing this. It's like clubs just expect Manchester United will take him off our hands.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
dembele has 2 years left in his contract, if he's loaned out this season he'll wait and leave for free once his contract ends and barcelona will get nothing
I get that. However, no club is giving Barcelona a 50m fee on top of the 5 year contract he’d want this summer. It would be madness. If he stays at Barca and doesn’t play they won’t be getting it next year either. The only way his value increases is by him playing games and performing. If he went on loan and tore it up showing he’s back to his best they’d have clubs queuing up to pay that 50m even with the one year contract.

Please no. I would rather buy a lb and cb this window rather than wasting the transfer budget on this permanently injured player. Also it will mean Sanchoff permanently. So, no thanks. Barca can keep him.

Not too disappointed. Had the potential to be brilliant but knowing our luck he’d just constantly be injured.

He would make us like him as Hargreaves, and stay permanently injuries after.

it would be his last year of contract, both dembele and any interested clubs would wait another season to leave for free

Under a tree.
I would take him on loan, but its not viable from Barca part, as he will only have a year left and value diminished even further.
The only way I would take him permanently this window is if we could swap him for Pogba.

Feck sake,we've already got a bunch of players who don't give a toss, no point getting another one.

I genuinely think that this will just add further anger and disgruntlement amongst the fans.

He’s clearly a panic buy, if it happens.

Im still holding out blind hope for Sancho

We have 23 unfit players, might as well add another.

With only 5 games last season for Dembele, he might be somewhat in better shape right now.

Dembele Telles and Cavani will form a trio of our fittest starters.

Imagine waking from a 5 year coma, being told that United are trying to sign the 2nd most expensive player of all time from Barcelona, who is still only 23 years old. That United just got thrashed 6-1 at home to Spurs. And yet the majority of United fans don’t want that player.

I think Dembele has more upside than Sancho, much more downside too though. I feel like we need Sancho more though due to his superior technical ability.

It is not really a panic buy, when it was reported in August that he was an option if Sancho fails, which it has by now, i hope everyone got that. I would take him here, even for 15 games out of 40 he would be better than James or Lingard playing in 35 of them.

Sancho is not happening, and Dembele is preferred over guys like Sarr or Brooks, deadwoods of tomorrow

I want him. Injuries are a concern, but he’s a ridiculous talent hence why Barca paid that much for him.

Rather him than nobody.

If you can guarantee me he’d be fit for 45 games this season, I’d absolutely take him on loan but only if Sancho doesn’t happen.

We should take Ousmane on condition that we have first dibs on Messi next year . But no seriously, this is looking really likely. I worry for you @Judas

Feels like we’ve agreed a deal with them in principle and said “if we can’t get Sancho, we’ll call you on Monday”.

And they’ve just told the whole world
