We didn't look out of our depth against a Championship team, which is the main thing. Said it before, but it would've been nice to see Powell assert himself more. Any nerves are understandable though - the step up in expectation is massive.

Lingard and Cole were fantastic at times today. Not an all-round domination of Peterborough by any means, but they both played some great football at various points during the match.

Took my old man to see Barcelona B play against Hudds. Town the other day.
Cole and Lingard would not have looked out of place and probably would have improved that side.

If Nick Powell is an option in central midfield this season then so am I.

His positioning is worse than Darron Gibson's at the moment, and both Lingard and Petrucci are far better in possession.

Well this was shite... Powell is for the future but he'll needs to train with the 1st team non-stop to get the next step forward..

They would had needed some experienced players among them.. Now the opposition just wore them down and striked when our youngsters made mistakes.

Yeah, Hudds could do with some better players :)
 yeah, they were pretty poor with the exceptions of Sean Scannell and Olly Norwood (if he was more athletic he'd have been good enough for United). Jordan Rhodes was pretty average looking.

On the Barcelona side, not too many stand-outs to be honest.
Grimaldo lived up to the hype, Dondou looked tidy and very clever with his movement-

The team actually looked better in the second half, probably as Huddersfield got knackered and the substitutes just passed them to death.
