This is a terrible direction to go. Just wtf. A 34 year old striker who wants CL football, commands enormous wages, was out with a heart condition? (As per transfermarkt) in January 2022, and lets be real he was god awful when Arsenal sold him.

MUFC want to bring him BACK to the PL? This better be smoke and mirrors.

He turned 33 in June ffs

But it would be just another short-term "solution". Another one in the line of Falcao, Zlatan, Cavani, and Ronaldo. Would only be a decent signing if we actually have no good alternatives, and if he comes very cheap/on a free on a one year deal. Given our current striker situation he can't possibly make us any worse.

Arsenal didn't sell him. He was released. He was awful for Arsenal after his contract renewal, but he had been great for Barcelona last season. He had 2 excellent season with Arsenal that earned him that big contract.
