Gaming PlayStation 5

Hopefully it’s not just vertical. And hopefully there’s a black option otherwise it’ll stick out in my set up.

The ones interesting. Out of those only Godfall looks to be new, close to launch & within my prefered genre. Not a great showing.
 
Crazy looking console. Fair play with them going with something different.

The lineup looked ok without blowing me away. Spider-Man, Horizon, Gran Turismo and Ratchet and Clank is a good start though.
 
Considering it's showing off games coming in the (presumably?) First 12 months of the release that wasn't too bad. Got to keep some stuff for future.

Meh, they’re all launch games anyway.
 
Pretty underwhelming. This Project Athia smells like their Deep Down (or somth) vaporware from 2013

lots of filler and a few decent looking games. Could've 20min the whole thing.
 
The show was very meh but I like how PS5 looks, especially the digital version :drool: Definitely getting that one.
 
Good showing I thought. Horizon looks awesome and was the game of the show for me. Can't wait for RE 8 also. Some other games that looked cool. All in all a very good show.

I actually like the design. Quite a drastic look and I'm all for it. Be interested to see how much cheaper the digital console will be. It would have to be significantly cheaper for me to opt for that one mind.

Edit: Oh, and that Housemarque game looks great. I'm a big fan of that studio.
 
I think this was decent enough. These things are never really fantastic, but there was enough here to get me interested. The middle section was slow and weird but we got Resi 8, Horizon 2 and the design reveal at the end, so all in all pretty good.

I don't know, a bit too different. Hopefully they release a black version, white just looks a tad cheap to me.
 
It looks absolutely huge. Gonna look hideous where I put my console.

Does the digital version look at all different?
 
At times it was a bit of a mixed bag, but thought that was pretty successful. The start was really good, new Spider Man Christmas 2020 is a huge release, Ratchet and Clank was excellent too and will be an automatic buy on release of console if out then. Also like the look of GT and Returnal, especially the latter looks a great new IP. The show took a dip in the middle, had quite a few low key games which don't appeal to me. However it had a relatively strong finish, I won't buy Demon Souls again but it will appeal to a lot, definitely interested in Deathloop (Dishonoured 3 with more guns). I expected Horizon 2 but actually seeing the trailer just builds the hype. So excited.

Apart from the console looking like a glorified broadband router, it was extremely sexy. The digital only version is a surprise, I think I will pass on that one as I just don't have the download speed to make it worth it but its still a decision to make.
 
Spider man, horizon, project Athia, resi 8, hitman look all great, and assuming they have a lot more up their sleeve.

Excellent, am very excited.
 
I see the release of a digital version as a sign that Sony see a future digital distribution only. If PS6 has a disc drive, I'll be a bit surprised.
 
I don't mind the look of it but will definitely try get a black one. They've already shown a black controller haven't they? So I'd assume the actual unit will come in black
