Ffs you should have grabbed the cnut when you had the chance. Did you have a look at the vehicle he was driving? If he was driving a white van, I suspect he’s a regular driver for them.

Didn’t you say he was stood still for a while? It probably explains why now.

They are just refunding all stolen consoles and giving them £5. For reference they gave people whose Xbox was delayed for a day £10 vouchers.

Sounds about right for them. I've battered them over the years and got tons better that a £5 voucher, but it can get tiring. They used to be so much better at customer service and didn't flinch at giving more.

£5 ain't gonna cut it lambs, I'll rinse them just like I did over my dodgy ear pods and faulty go-pro. My son is pissed...

I imagine it's such a low amount (by their standards) because so many orders fecked up and so there's a blanket 'we offer this' approach.

For those who are willing to put the energy in I'm sure you could probably get a £50 voucher, maybe more.

Nintendo do it incredibly well! They manage to evoke that nostalgia with so many games but also mini games, mini gadgets (game & watch), merchandise (amibos)

Xbox obviously has a much shorter history and it's lack of first party studios until this point doesn't help. They did do Rare Replay and have done a few other bits but not enough. With Perfect Dark, Gears, Halo, Forza, Viva Pinata, Banjo Kazooie, Fable, Ori, Killer Instinct - they do actually have some decent IP and characters to play with.

Agree on Astrobot. So many great references. I actually think PlayStation could do this a lot better though and hopefully Astro is the start of that. I must be one of the 10 people who bought PlayStation All Stars (their version of Smash) on the Vita. It didn't take off but I was convinced they were onto something and hoped we'd see a kart racer follow.
 
So US got a restock 2 weeks after release? So If UK goes with same time frame we should be looking at late this month / early December. Then we can all wait and refresh and still manage not to get one.
 
Also guys remember to utilise the card system to fire back straight into missions
 
Bugsnax might be the strangest game that I have ever played, but I'm really enjoying it
 
Just finished Miles Morales. It was good up until the last hour or so, where it became incredible.

Really great game, but not worth full price. It would probably be considered the greatest DLC of all time if it was released that way, which I think it should have been.

Smyths toys are anticipating stock to arrive in December too.
 
I've given myself a deadline of December 15th. If I can't find one by then, I'm going to get one from Ebay / Gumtree.

I'm on holiday for two weeks from the 18th, all by myself on Christmas with family in another country. The thought of not being able to spend those two weeks with the PS5 is depressing.

I'm literally looking in 5 countries - sister lives in the US, I've got colleagues in Spain and Germany that have agreed to ship one over to me if I can find it, family back home in Dubai and I'm looking in the UK. Ridiculous that I can't find even one in stock anywhere.

You need to be on the website as they launch them, there's like a 10 minute window and then they're gone. Hopefully you manage to pick one up, I know Best Buy had them up today 5am EST. Check the live discussion on the PS5 reddit page, those guys will tell you when stock is up.

I was on during the Best Buy stock drop. They were releasing units every 5-7 minutes. I'd get in my cart, go to checkout and then it'd say "sorry not available anymore."

I had it in my cart 4 times through four rounds of releases and still wasn't able to actually purchase.

I had this on Amazon, John Lewis and Curry’s. Every time I hit Buy it would time out or throw an error. Infuriating.

The thing that kills me is that I did get through to checkout on Very on launch day, and decided "feck it" when they said shipping date is December 17th. Thought I'd surely be able to get it before that. Didn't realise just how hard this is going to be :(

People on the reddit live chat had the same problem but eventually most of them picked one up. They think Kohl's (personally never heard of it) will be re-stocking soon but definitely keep your eye on that live discussion chat, it'll help you known when and where stock is available.
 
Maybe it’s has been answered or it’s obvious but would a PS5 bought in the US for the US market work in the UK on a regular TV?
My buddy’s trying to get one for his kid for Christmas but all sold out seemingly over there in yerp.
He’s now thought of buying one from the US, shipping to my house (I’m in the US) then I’d post it to him..
