Andreas and James are championship level. Mata past it, Martial inconsistent. IT was only Rashford holding things toegether, with that front four we were always going to struggle.
Agree fully, Martial static and then dropping for the ball no pressure on the defenders to run backwards, James also very poor

That was not good. Letting 7 first team players leave in 12 months and only signing 3 was a poor decision surprisingly and the mind boggling commitment to playing exactly the same fecking formation every bloody game regardless of who is in the squad and who the opposition are has finally worn out my tolerance for Ole. I want Nuno but we will probably get Poch eventually.

Tactically you have to find a way to get Greenwood into goalscoring areas from the right. You can't just place him out on the right side, far away from the danger zone, and hope the ball hops out to him on the edge of the right side of the area. That's not coaching. Coaching is overloading one side of the field so that you can switch the ball to Greenwood's side, so he's one-on-one vs. his full-back. I saw none of that. None.

If Ole can't coach, then he needs to radically overhaul his coaching team and bring in specialists who can.

One game closer to the end of the season, though! Positive.
We can't keep thinking like this.
Last season, we said this same thing.
Next season, if Ole stays, it will be the same thing.
Writing off season after season is not the right way to move forward.

Lads did their best. Very unlucky against a well organised Burnley. Looking forward to the next match. Piss poor. Load of shite. Bored now.

I've tried to remain positive but I have to be honest I'm struggling now.

This cannot be allowed to continue.

Ole needs to resign. He's comfortably one of the worst managers in the league at this point. Disgraceful.

I'm willing to finally admit it......I think the league is now out of reach.

On a serious note, can those calling ole a "gallum prick" in the match day thread please be banned? Genuinely, that is beyond disgraceful and action should be taken.

Anyone offering a defence of anyone who holds a position of influence in the running of this club has no leg to stand on.

We need new owners asap.

Pissed my 1-2 prediction didn't hit - other than that, lost for words. Squad may be shit, so is the manager, and so is the people running the club into the ground (footballing wise, apparently we're making tons of money, so "yay us!").

I fecking hate Burneley. Shithouse team with shithouse tactics. Rotten performance from start to finish. Had 70% possession, but managed to do feck all with it.

Martial is not good enough to lead the line for us. He looks world class on certain days, but blows hot and cold all the time and his bottom level is incredibly bad

It's OK guys we're going in the right directon even though the reality says absolutely the opposite and we're feckin shit. It will magically click at some point definitely!!!!

This is worse than anything Moyes, Van Gaal or Mourinho served up. I hope Ed doesn't give him the funds because he'll waste again. The only thing Ed needs to give Ole is the boot.
Can Ed give himself the boot while he's at it?

Still sticking with Ole, but we are seriously lacking quality upfront and in midfield. We need major signings or we're on a downward spiral to oblivion.
Club is now officially in crisis.
Why? Our players can't execute a simple throw in, these are not Sunday league players, but they play as such, because they are coached poorly. Every single player has regressed this season, if that's not up to the coach I don't know what is.

Just here to state in the midst of the meltdown that we moved the ball as well as could possibly expected in the first half. Martial should have had two, Mata should have had one. They scored with their only chance. The mental weakness which has been evident in our squads since 2013 was prevalent again and the second half was just very, very poor.

But go on and tell me about how Ole is the worst manager of all time and that this is all on him etc

Perhaps finish 8th would be better than 4th. No European football would make the Glazers think they either put their hands in their pockets or sell up. At the very least Ole would be gone.

Would probably win this in the first half if we had some quality in the final third. Pretty much mentaly collapsed after their goal which is to be expected at this point. All in all it's just a realistic portrayal of where we are at the moment for a bunch of different reasons.

I have one solid question for you lot.

How could we be certain that new manager would make sign the needed additions to that depleted squad?
If we get a new manager then woodward will definitely kit him up. Just to prove it was ole rather than Ed

If there are any true fans still defending this joke of a manager they need to hang their head in shame. True the squad is not top quality but if you believe with the talent at hand this level of football isn't squarely down to the appalling coaching standards then the level of delusion is truly staggering.

Now he has been dealt a bum hand, but feck me we are so poorly coached it is unreal.

Our players just make random decisions continually, and they're invariant terrible. There is no rhyme or reason to our play... No structure.. It is just a mess.

They won't be able to sign anyone of quality. This club is in freefall.

Was that worse than the Newcastle game? Just another performance I'll try to expunge from my memory. Don't even forsee a panic buy after that.

It was over the moment Ole decided it was a good idea to bring Lingard on when 0-2 behind.... Do you expect a player who is incapable of scoring or assist to change that scoreline?
This question needs to be asked for Ole.
Why is he playing an attacker, who can't attack.
This is like putting your own team, while 2-0 down, down to 10 men.
Why is it that fans can see this, but Ole can't.
It's baffling.
