Poor performance, great goal. Happy with the result. Confirmed ticket for the last match day against Leicester.

Frail defensively but a huge 3 points. Martial is on a different level at the moment. Rashford looking razor sharp .

Good result. Didn't play great but showed some moments of absolute brilliance with the play between Bruno, Martial and Rashford. Rashford man of the match. And all though Bruno showed some magic, he also gave the ball away far too easily in bad areas. His give away lead to their offside goal. I don't mind him taking chances in the final third, but not from our half. If trying to start a quick counter attack, don't try and thread it through the eye of needle from our end. Go over the top. I have also been De Gea's biggest critic but I thought he played well tonight...

An important win under pressure with both Chelsea and Leicester winning. The team performance tonight won't be good enough to beat Leicester on the final day and would be dodgy against West Ham so plenty of room for improvement.

What team is picked v Chelsea on Sunday needs to be chosen wisely now.

Almost the exact same game as Southampton. Two teams who had nothing to play for, came in to give us a game. Only difference is that we took our chances at important moments in this game but didn't in the last one.

Bruno was poor today.

Matic->McTominay there's a huge difference.

Lack of quality full-backs showed again today, no crosses coming in from full-backs, no quality there going forward.

I'm concerned about the lack of ball retention at times, trying to play the killer ball too much at times.

Good result though, I had United drawing it, so 2-0 was a pleasant surprise.

Matic is essential in midfield. Key change today. Pleased for TFM.

And for future; we must always go and play for second goal. Second goal is a mood killer for other team.
Yep, a slight downside, is how much better we look with Matic in there.

McTom and Fred can't do what our main 3 guys can. That's a concern.

Another fairly poor game, but we’re still getting points in the bag which is a good sign. Earlier in the season, a flat performance guaranteed us dropping points.

Job done. You don’t want to waste a vintage performance on Palace.

Dave, Marcus and Anthony were standout performers, but let’s also give some love to Timothy, who actually put in a decent shift.

Lots of players looking tired in the last two matches. Chelsea could be a tough day at the office. 2 days of extra rest really is BS.

Great that we ground out 3 points though. Palace played well

Rashford & Martial are becoming a sensational partnership  The challenge was put to them at the start of the season to make that forward line their own and they've done it. Two young lads realising their potential. Beautiful and how it should be done at our club.

Wasn't pretty but massive win, that. Need to thrash West Ham now. A 3-0 win and Leicester defeat puts us in front of them on points and GD.

Really a whiny little flopper, isn't he? And how Marcus just man-handled him AND drew the foul...
Its like a constant annoyance after another for him, he complains about lack of respect from the referees and then flops at the slightest bit of contact when he gets something.

Say we and Leicester win our next match, and Liverpool beat Chelsea, a draw in our last game puts Chelsea 5th unless they score about 15 goals

Good win in the end, but yet another game where we don't turn up for 20 minutes. Must be 4 or 5 in a row. It's worrisome that Ole isn't setting his teams up to set the pace of the game even against opposition who have lost 5 in a row and have scored the 2nd least amount of goals in the league.

Chelsea will punish us if we keep starting like this.

Martial and Rashford are just brilliant players. Think this does more for ourselves mentally than anything else, as a draw still brings it down to the last day against Leicester anyway.

Need a 6 goal swing between our game against West Ham and Leicester against Spurs to be kind of comfortable on the last day. If Spurs win by 2, then we need to beat West Ham by 4 to have +3 on Leicester, meaning a 1 goal loss to them on the final day would still see us qualify ahead of them. Or have Chelsea lose to Liverpool, us beat West Ham and a draw would be enough to guarantee qualification.

On the game itself... Martial and Rashford were entirely the reasons we won that. Maguire very good as well. Midfield was pretty meh, Bruno massively improved as the game went on but should've scored himself. Pogba also improved but just seemed a bit off today IMO. We struggled to get in good positions for the first hour, eased off after. But still a big win none the less for the mental state of the players, as it means they bounced back after a frustrating set back in a tough place to play (normally) and kept a clean sheet.

Bad performance but it's the points that matters. Interesting to see we hardly made any subs considering we have Chelsea on Saturday.

We made this a harder game for us than we needed to but it is what it is, big result.

Palace didn't deserve that VAR decision for their goal. We played some lovely stuff at times again despite our poor rhythm though. Martial and Rashford are killing it.

Great performance from Rashford and Martial, again. Bruno unlucky and we're pretty lucky with VAR. Clearly af that McT can't play as a holding. We won, can't complain. 6pts to go

P/s: old DDG is back, so happy

I think Pogba has been underrated a bit. His performance was good, the amount of time he drops back to help the defenders get the ball forward for our attacks.

Massive 3 points.
Mentality questions answered tonight - it was all about the result and the United of last year would have capitulated tonight.
A massive week coming up from Sunday. Hopefully West Ham stuff Watford tomorrow and they all go out on the beer for a few days

Only care about the results right now so I'm happy with the win. Both goals were fantastic to watch.

We do look tired though. Wan Bissaka, Fernandes and Pogba are all showing signs of heavy legs.

Great win. Not always pretty, not always controlled, but we kept our nerve and when we needed to score we came up with two very high quality goals at perfect times. Very happy.

Palace worked tonight like Roy had told them he was going to murder a puppy if they didn't win. Haven't seen them run so hard since the restart.

Hard fought win, some poor moments balanced by some moments of absolute quality.

2 more wins like this in the league will give me a heart attack, but I'd snap your hand off for them right now.

Great from DDG, kept us in the game. My MotM. Fun exciting contest. Bruno, Rashford and Martial all get high marks for their individual strokes of class that gave us the goals.

Pogba swing and miss, while Lindelöf had another good game.

Lingard also had his best game of the season, gave him a 6 for that.

Ok, serious question - Does Maguire score headed goals in training, at least?

Ground them down, workman like performance. If Lingard can play for United then so can I.
