I’m pissed at that result and some of the decision making from players, but man does this place overreact!

Defense to offense transition has so much room for improvement. Arsenal has mastered it. City do it regularly. Early days for us but will get there I hope.

The way some people are taking this is like they genuinely thought we are in a title race......

It's CL qualification for us thats the aim. Do not fool yourself into thinking this team is ever going to win the title.

I hope Rashford was saving himself for Sunday because that was his worst match in quite a while.

Palace were fecking shite but made us shit our pants some reason all second half. Every fecker just giving the ball away for no reason, inviting pressure and meant that booking for Casemiro was always coming. At a ground like Palace if you give the ball away like that consistently the fans lap it up and it spurred their team on. Livid with that performance when with some composure we win that 3-0.

Could have had a pen and that dirty twat elbowed Martinez with intent and not even a yellow.

Special mention to the utter dick Alan Smith on commentary just praying for the reverse jinx commentators curse. Arsehole.

Casemiro superb again. Yes, AWB was decent but one of the worst today for losing possession needlessly.

But in the end of the day, we didn't really create too many chances ourselves. De Gea really saved us a couple of times. So probably a very fair result.

Can't believe how things got so out of control in the second half. You could sense that we weren't as calm as normal.

CP always plays better against Utd. A draw isn't a bad result, considering we might lose this one. CP winger who score the free kick should be someone that we should buy, looks much better than Antony. For 80 million, I would swap Antony with him.

Such a frustrating and annoying night. Could and should have been a 10th win in row but were average at best 2nd half and didn't help themselves by giving away a dangerous free in injury time.

Not sure how VAR didn't give a penalty for the foul on my Mctominay. How costly will losing Casemiro for the Arsenal game be?

Awful second half but we still should've won this game. Hate that it's a fecking nobody scoring a worldie in the last minutes ruining everything. Shit evening all together, and Casemiros suspension made everything worse.

One of the worst half under ETH.
Oh well forget title run. A draw against wouldn't be so bad now.

We're didn't lose the game, we could have won, peddle off the gas. I'll take that away to anybody who can beat anyone this season.

Thought we were very solid. But a world class goal, poor refereeing and lack of attacking thret in thrid left us with 1-1.

I can't understand how that isn't a penalty? How many tweets will we get today for this VAR shocking decisions?
Simple. Because VAR cacked it after four days of bollocks in the media about our equaliser against City.

No real complaints and credit to Palace tbf. Could turn out to be a decent point in the long run. I still think we'll beat Arsenal on sunday. What has happened to AWB???

I don't really fault ETH for the selection tonight. Gotta play for the 3 points. Disappointed in the execution though.

Yep - 1st game we haven't won in 10, and it took a wonder strike from 30 yards and an obvious missed VAR call!

Horrid result. we are so poor at sitting back on a one-goal lead. a second goal would have killed them off and we'd have got three or four. but, no, we decide to defend what we had. stupid. from the moment casemiro was booked it was inevitable (if not before).

Casemiro was excellent, varane imperious again and one world-class stop from DDG. other than that, we were in control without being great. antony poor, rashford no better and weghorst anonymous in the second half. not good enough. arsenal and city will stuff these guys. and we still need a top-class striker. can't see us getting anything from arsenal after that.

That said, appalling referring decision on the Scotty penalty

Disasterclass from Ten Hag, Rashford, Bruno. Can't actually think of any player that put in above a 5/10 performance.
our back 4 , keeper and Casemiro were all excellent

Tiredness caught up with us in the end. Bruno and Rashford were shattered. Props to AWB and Shaw.

Another great free kick against us. Classic.
Penalty not rewarded. Rashford being greedy as he was under Ole. Case 5th yellow card. What a shit day

Folks will complain about VAR and the penalty that wasn't, but we got what we deserved for that second half performance. Constantly making bad decisions in the final third - we should have easily put the game to bed before the equaliser.

It's actually baffling how a professional football team can be that bad at passing a football.

2nd half performance a genuine disgrace.

There's a real mentality issue with this team, they settle for 1 goal leads and don't try to kill teams off. We're holding on for dear life to a 1 goal lead at the end of nearly every game, defending corner after corner and cross after cross. It was bound to catch up with us eventually.

That one have to lay at Ten Hag's feet. Rashford should have come off because he was laboring and when he got the ball, he was only looking for himself - that side of him needs to be curtailed immediately or it's going to turn into the player of last season. Fred should have come on long before and Garnacho comes on and what does the team do, keep going to the right, Case yellow comes from him forcing a pass out to the right.

Part of the process, to win games like today, hopefully he'll learn from it. Onwards to Sunday - hopefully with a bit of something to prove and increase the intensitty/desire for the full 90.

Bruno Fernandes as a right winger is comical. Can't really understand why ten Hag has been insisting on that.

Ugh that's sickening. Absolutely sickening. Especially how late it came. You always run that risk of course with such a slim lead. We probably should have had a penalty too which only adds salt to the wounds. Let alone Casemiro being out the next game.

  • No penalty for the foul on McTominay despite it going to VAR
  • Casemiro’s stupid booking means he’s now suspended for the Arsenal game
  • Dropping the opportunity to leapfrog City into 2nd place with a pathetic 2nd half performance and putting the nail in the coffin by conceding right at the death and any slimmer of hope we had of winning the title
Take your pick, couldn’t have asked for a worse night.

Some of our players are still capable of the most brainless acts, it's hard to fathom what goes through their heads!

We give so many needless free kicks away and for so long we have conceded goals from set plays...a top team never allows dogshit teams these opportunities when the game is in your grasp. The second half was horrific in terms of football and players could be forgiven for being tired but the most basic level of passing we couldn't execute.

We're not miles off but again, this team doesn't create enough, score enough, to win a title.

It's not just a striker issue either. The front three/four don't do enough.
