Poor poor performance though. Should have scored 2/3 goals at least. Need to start finishing teams off especially poor teams.

Onana, Maguire and Eriksen can hold their heads up. The rest not so much.

EDIT: Forgot Hojlund too. He’s a gem and hopefully he keeps on that trajectory of development

That was absolutely tragic football for the most part but that penalty save was excellent

That has to provide a boost

Need to find an attacking forumula that generates some goals

We aren't any better than a couple years ago.

Our only hope of attacking is through counters. This is where Bruno excels.

Good second half from United but needed more clinical finishing. So many clear cut chances went begging! Our forwards need to get into some form.

Don’t remember when we saved a penalty last. Onana made a good save there and got a strong hand to it. Hopefully this kick starts his career with us.

shouldnt need a penalty save to win but that’s for another time!

onwards and upwards

Still can't get over Bruno going flying just before the penalty was given. Looked like he was shoved on first view but not seen the replay.

Another late drama. We're poor but that's a win and we can still pass the group now. Think we'll have to beat both Copenhagen and Galata away though and in our state that's not a given.

What an end

We won so it's good. But what's fecking wrong with our forwards tbh. Two, three clear one on one and they didn't even shoot.

So happy for Onana..and Maguire.
This is not an accident, Mc Tomminay does late minute stupid shit like this all the time.

I've whined enough in the match day thread. I'll likely whine next game as well. Here I'll just enjoy yet another 97th min win. The adrenaline rush is incredible. Well done Maguire and Onana. Well fecking done.

Great moment for Onana, we squandered a handful of really promising positions in the second half with poor touches but at least we looked more threatening, I just really hope we start to see a progression in performances soon so we can see this team is heading in some sort of direction, weekend is going to be a huge test.

Important 3 points. Credits to both Maguire and Onana who turned their performaces around.
But we could have won it comfortably if our attackers can do thr basics right and finish one on one clear chances.

4 times in 4 attempts Onana guessed the direction of the penalty so far. Only 2/4 penalties conceded

Shockingly poor first half, slightly better second half. We still miss too many chances and we still carry too many poor lazy players.

Fair play to old Jacob Slab Head Maguire. Good performance and great header.

Onana get in too!

But a win is a win, whoop whoop and what an end.

Give peas a chance.
We’re back baybeeeeeeeeeee.

Only joking. We’re still shite.

Celebrated more for Onana saving that pen than for any goal we’ve scored this season so I suppose I do still care.

First question to Ten Hag has to be ‘When can fans expect the team to win a match comfortably? Why does your team make it look so hard?’

Every game seems to be a slog which is won by the odd goal. Ten Hag has to start facing questions even if we’ve won. We don’t even seem to pickup confidence from winning.
