Could've smashed and grabbed it, but it's better than pretty much everyone anticipated

I genuinely think PGMOL were in Oliver’s ear at the end.
‘Do something crazy, we’ll get more airtime’

Solid though. Hardest game of year done.

Pretty encouraging second half, our tactics worked, we defended well, and had the biggest chances after some good attacks. First half was horrible to watch. Overall a positive result and performance considering the circumstances.

Amazing, unbelievable result. Dreadful performance but well, didn't expect anything different.

Michael Oliver still being allowed to referee football games is nothing short of astonishing.

Majestic performance by Varane. The team defended very well as a whole. Could've even smash and grabbed it if McT was any good.

Ok game from us.

Despite Liverpool being better we were good in tactics and Liverpool didn't have to many chances from open play.

Hopefully ETH see a bugger picture where Mainoo is part of midfield 2. Sorry McTominay do not deserve to start any games, he is completely useless accept scoring. Without him, we might dominated midfield. It was a perfect game for Mount to start with Bruno suspension. Good point, no humiliation.

I’d say the bookies are laughing all the way to the bank.

We had no conviction really in attack. We defended well. TAA could easily have scored and that would have been it.

Hopefully the start of us showing some resilience in defence and working for each other. Now to get some players back. Varane has to start as long as he is here. Same with Casemiro. I think they should both be sold and replaced with top young players but only with the right personalities.

Take the point and move on.

Would've taken that before the game and even if we played shite for a lot of it we still had the better chances. Feck Oliver.

Good result, poor performance and a poor game of football all round.

We lack real quality going on forward and on the ball, and a better set of attacking players and we nick 1 or 2 goals today.

Credit for keeping Liverpool out though.

Clean sheet at Anfield.

Moan away, but we got a point at Anfield.

Mainoo is so mature for his age.

I liked Pelistri's enthusiasm when he came on.

Onana made some good saves and blocks.

Happy with a point. Defended well but Liverpool were not great by their standards.
one or two of our players were very poor in possession, Amrabat looked out of his depth at times.
Varane Evans and Shaw immense.

Way better result t than expected. Important points and fantastic to not lose to scousers on Anfield.

Man of the match - Michael Oliver and his historically idiotic red card

Should honestly have won it. Shit half chances and hopeful shots outside the box from Pool. Two best chances of the match were Højlund and Garnacho through on goal.

Great result. It wasn't good, but a point at Anfield is a great result every time. Mainoo, Varane and Evans can walk away from that with their heads held high.

Not pretty but a fantastic clean sheet and draw at a ground we have a terrible record in recent times.

Thought almost everyone was very good today regardless of some very very iffy possession work, second half was decent on the whole. But it'll be 1 step forward, 2 steps back next game probably.
