How did Casemiro play the entire game? He’s lost the last 2-3 gears in his transmission, AND he should have been sent off at the end. Any chance we get of losing his wages this summer, take it and run!
I agree he’s dreadful but the alternative is Amrabat.

Replacing Casemiro should be our top priority this summer.

Tired defending….
Agree - if you keep letting players slice through your midfield with your defenders constantly under pressure, at some point they'll lose concentration as they tire. Even if the defending in those last minutes have been atrocious

I’d feel more comfortable next season with Casemiro playing on stilts and a World Class striker in the squad, than a brand new midfielder and still relying heavily on Hojlund for every match.

Striker has to be the priority

The only team that matters
Another pathetic basketball match of a performance where we got lucky to be bailed out by a scouse mistake and a worldie by one of our academy grads.

Our fraud of a manager again kept Marcus Deadwood on the pitch for the full game, put on Mason the Useless and refused to play the player who won us the game against the scousers in the same fixture two weeks ago.

Not to mention leaving Bruno 'headless chicken' Fernandes on the pitch when we need control and playing Aaron 'I like to break dance instead of using my brain to defend' wan Bissaka on the fecking left yet again when it's obviously a dumb idea.

Not to absolve AWB it was rash but he's playing out of position, he’s been attacked all game by the best RW in the business and he’s been good. Shaw is so much better on that side. We probably still would have conceded an equaliser at some point. A draw is a fair result on play because we should have been at least 2 down in the first half.

Knocked the greatest team ever out of the FA Cup depriving them of their inevitable quadruple, deprived the greatest team ever of 4 League points and deprived the greatest team ever of having the league in their own hands.
I know we're shit but at least they're our shit.
Arse, this is our gift to you, don't mess it up.

I wish that were the case but I did. We should have been dead and buried first half but thank feck the scousers have two clowns and a hapless Salah up front.

Those remarks shows Klopp is feeling the heat, before today the title was in their hands and he'll be left to wonder how his side has dropped 4 points to United this season and for good measure knocked out of the FA cup by them.

To answer your earlier question, yes 6th will be enough for Europa especially if Man City go on to win the FA cup and of course United can get into the Europa by winning the cup also if finishing outside the top 6.

Given how atrocious we were in the first half (zero attempts on goal compared to Liverpool's 15), it really was incredible that we found ourselves in a position late on to take all three points, but unfortunately we weren't able to see the game out... the same story as our two previous outings against Chelsea and Brentford.

Overall I'm not happy with today's performance, but I am happy with today's point.

Arsenal will win it. City and Pool are both going to drop more points in the coming weeks. We did our bit to deny the scum a title.

It's Arsenal and they are famous for choking.

The title is still pretty much City's.

Klopp is bad at tactics and him quitting the job is putting tremendous pressure on his players. Poor psychological move.

I really wish we will out of Europe next season so we can fully focus on the league. It will gives us time to prepare for league and have ample rest between games. It will gives 2 more transfer summer to buy talents so there are enough quality on the bench. Hoijund is a backup striker at best for now. I would say we need to get a striker, left back, center back, LW and central mid of starting XI quality. Sell Varane, Casemiro, Lindeloft, Rashford, McTominay, AWB, Sancho and deadwood. If Amad and Pellestri has no future, then sell them too.

Tbf probably not if you could flog all those players, many of whom are home grown. It would leave us with a pretty threadbare squad though!

Yeah our squad is already light so there is no way we sell that many without signing more for a bigger outlay.

We'd probably have to lose at least half our remaining games to do that, tghen we would really be a mid-table team

Of the three challengers I think most on here all prefer to see Arsenal win the title. Games against Villa and Wolves could be tricky for them after playing Bayern Munich mid week before them. Tottenham and United are well capable of at least drawing with them at home. Looking at City,Liverpool's run ins I don't see where they'll drop many more points.

Thought we had stolen it. Too bad. I really can't handle Klopp winning a title on the way out, though I respect him as a manager.

Very proud of Kambwala.

As others have said, why do we freak out when clearing the ball? It's school boys stuff. Why the feck can't Maguire direct a header to someone? So strange.

Amazing stop by Onana, early on.

Can't start Rashford any more ETH, it'll be the end of you.

7 points needlessly dropped the last 3 games. There goes our top 5 hopes.
Ironically we would probably get top 4 without the Brentford, Chelsea and Liverpool collapses now we won't get 5th

People were saying before those games it was done. I think there’s a decent chance we win our next 3 and then we could easily be within 3 points of Villa again and all of a sudden everyone’s saying it’s back on. Then we’ll drop points again and it’ll officially be over. These top 4 scraps are always the same.

Nah, no way, dude. No tanking. More United games, more opportunities to win a trophy. We've got work to do obviously but we're not Wigan. We've got enough money for an extra fixture once in a while.

I thought it was the winner of the caraboa that got Europa league. Fa cup gets community shield?

One thing that has gone under the radar is how many Liverpool fans are over Szoboszlai. Keep seeing them being very frustrated with him.

Between Szoboszlai and Nunez, they’ve really wasted 150m.

League Cup winner gets a Europa Conference spot. FA Cup gets you Europa League.

Community shield is PL winners vs FA cup winners. Or top 2 in the PL if the PL winners also won the FA cup.

Manchester United versus Liverpool is arguably the biggest game in world football. I can't think of another fixture I'd mark out in the calendar first.

But I fell asleep for it. I had set everything up and built my day around a game that I couldn't even stay awake for. Great to get a point against Liverpool with the state we're in, but I can't forgive being robbed of entertainment that way. That's my breaking point.

I think his touchline antics are disgraceful and cringeworthy. He's like having a friend who is levelheaded at the start of the night, but after a few pints they turn into a raging fecking dickhead. I know he's all smiles in interviews, but he's a fecking knob and I can't wait for him to be gone.

Don't forget Gakpo! McAllister is the only one of their recent signing worth a damn. And once Salah is gone, they are going to need a rebuild as badly as we need one.
