Overrun in midfield for most of that game. Nice comeback though. Then completely let down at the end with some dismal defending

Unfortunately, the players have shown when put into a formation that worked that they had more than enough to win the match.

Having got into a winning position, the manager has made a change which has neutralised his own side's threat and invited pressure, which led to an equaliser with a RIDICULOUS number of touches in the Man Utd box.

Therefore the errors are the manager's in this match alone.

Almost a great comeback, but it would've been an absolute robbery to take all 3 points.

Ole proving how out of his depth he is once again. Jones was a car crash, and bringing Tuanzebe on immediately put us on the backfoot which is inexcusable given how poor we were defensively.

Game of two halves. Atleast shows that we can stage a comeback 2-0 down . Wish we didn't throw it away in the last sec.

He needs to go but this "comeback" will buy him time. Poch will end up at Bayern, we'll finish 11th and then we'll sack Ole and hire Giggs and the whole process will begin again.

If we'd won, we'd be looking at another Newcastle 3-2 under Jose. In the long run, it may have done more harm than good. Because we were absolutely terrible in that game, it would have been an absolute robbery for us to take all three points.

Terrible stuff apart from about 7 minutes. Ole can get praise for some good subs, but taking Martial off when he did, when we were ruining them was moronic, and the killer blow.
We were ridiculously open and they'd brought on another attacker. It made sense to shore it up a bit.

Changes nothing. Lucky to be still in it, got the lead somehow and then threw it away with a ridiculous substitution. Ole should go asap but this just gives him even more time. Like Emery at Arsenal, this result just drags this bullshit out for longer

Didn’t deserve that point but will take it, I guess.

Awful performance minus a 15 min spell between minute 70-85

VAR got that McBurnie goal decision spot on.

We were lucky to draw. They should have won. Pathetic from Ole to switch systems once we went ahead. You could feel a goal coming as soon as Tuanzebe came on

What a soft shower of shite we are. A miracle comeback and then couldn't even hold on for 2 minutes. Really really pissed off!!

Ole new nickname should be Mr. False Dawn. The game was a perfect example of that . After 3-2, ole at the wheel crowd was wetting themselves .

overall first half was terrible. Sheff allowed us back in the game. I am not convinced.

How is Sheffield able to score 3 against us? Embarrassing.
It's not like we made significant investment in that area.

That being said, midfield needs major surgery. We look so poor without Scott and even I have questions about his ability going forward.

A crazy match. We deserved nothing from it, but were unlucky not to win it. Well done to the youngsters for getting us back in the match; we looked dead and buried at 2-0. I think their equaliser was probably a fair call: it was hard to tell if it hit the arm, but it was never deliberate; he was pulling his arm away.

Well done to Williams and Greenwood. I don't want to see Jones, Fred and Pereira again; some of the performances today were shameful. Our squad is so poor and the organisation non-existent. Overall the performance was a disgrace. We will need to see whether Ole clings on, but we are a mess.

Such cowards. Complete dogshit until we managed to get a goal thanks to a great finish, then they play with such freedom as they’ve nothing to lose. Soon as we go 3-2 up we bottle it again. Maguire awful today.

Ole got it right then got it wrong. Taking martial off just invites pressure and we had momentum.

first half was appalling but when one of your midfielders is giving the ball away for fun it’s not exactly hard to find out why.

Also var can do one. That was a foul on jones all day long

I see their third goal as a handball, and I dont understand, how VAR could miss that.

The first half was the worst, I have seen from Manchester United in a long time. It feelt good, that it was 3 players from the academy, who scored for us to bring us back in the game ;-)

I didn`t understand, why Solskjær chosed to sub Martial for Tuanzebe - we all learned in the first half, that wo couldnt defend against them.

It was such a shame we didn't push on imediately for the 4th goal after our 3rd. Sheffield clearly showed that they were panicking under the pressure but instead we allowed them to compose themselves.

Pogba and Mctominay can't come back soon enough.

Come on..... handball against Sheff Utd? The guy practically placed himself into a Kimura lock just to avoid the contact with the ball and his arm. No logical person could possibly conclude that it's a fair handball decision. The goal stood, rightly so.

Anyone got footage from the first goal? Had one viewing of it ehich showed them taking the freekick after Pereiras foul while the ball was rolling. That was 1 touch before the through ball towards Mousset/Jones.
That, and the VAR-decision....
We were thoroughly shit for 70 mins, so not trying to say it would have made it a better performance, but points are points.

Moronic to bring on a defender. The whole reason why we came back was because we actually started to play.

Ole is a clueless coward of a manager. Time to go, weeks ago.

so so bad for 75 minutes. Pierra and jones just shocking others not much better. Great 10 -15 minutes and comeback but cant forget the first 70 minutes.... was painful, very very painful. 3-2 up with minutes to go, manage the game out ffs.

Not sure how the goal wasn’t disallowed. Hit the arm, hand ball and I expect the decision to be consistent. But still it was poor in the first place that we were unable to clear the ball or anticipate whatever happened in the box for that 3rd goal, we had the lead 3-2 in 90th min and we shouldn’t give it away.

Pereira was terrible & Jones was also terrible. It was bad idea to even play them, surely Ole should know that those two aren’t good enough now.

Was anyone even remotely surprised?

How many of us in the match day thread said “go for the 4th” rather than doing what we all expected them to do, resulting in what we all knew would happen

It's the hope that kills you!

Crazy game, we were 2nd best and then suddenly burst into life only to bottle it at the end. Wasn't a fan of taking Martial off as we were looking very dangerous at that point, we ended up just trying to hang on and I don't think we had the players out there for that.

Double wammy.
Loosing the lead to a late equaliser then turning on the wireless to hear that halfwit Savage talking his usual rubbish.

Those two decisions and the formation unfortunately are the decisions which have cost United the win.

Good game.

Moaners can feck off.
By game you mean ten minutes in the second half right?

I’ve supported this club for over 30 years and that first half is up there with the very worst I’ve seen.

Shouldn’t have gone defensive when we scored the 3rd. Just invites pressure back onto which is what happened.

The result is great after being two down, but the performance was absolute rubbish and that shouldn't be forgotten. Showed some guts to pick ourselves off the floor, but it just wasn't good enough for long periods.
