Lamela must get a retroactive red.. went down as if he'd been hit by both Ali and Tyson at the same time

We are that bad we have made Evra want to quit his job so he doesn't have to watch us!

On a serious note when every single player is seemingly poorly positioned, when there is no synergy and the players seem to not be at the required level of fitness, I don't look at them individually. People shouldn't fool themselves because they want to have a go at specific players, none of them were good, not even Fred, McTominay and VDB who were as bad as the rest when they came on despite what some seem to have imagined. We were still a mess positionally in the second half, the team was shapeless despite the fact that the coaching staff had 30 minutes(15 before half time and then half time) to think about what to do and how to explain it to the players.

Shaw was so bad he probably should never play for us again. Shameful.

To be fair most my anger was released at half time.

I'm envious. Im still at the venting stage but have at least moved past denial. What's next, despair?

Hilarious seeing that goal again where we tried to play it out from the back. I swear a bunch of babies in nappies could have done better

The ole in crowd will find an excuse. I predicted 8 points out of the next 6 games, think we will be lucky to get this.
The way we are playing, Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Everton could all beat us. I don’t think we’ll lose all 4 but who knows. Reckon there will be a few draws in there. Beat WBA at home and draw at Southampton as always.

I wonder if Pogba needs to score own goals to get dropped? Ole lacks balls. Just a SAF wannabe.

Maguire made a right mess of the first goal, and probably shouldn't have allowed Kane to take a quick free kick for the second, but Bailly and AWB were absolutely awful. All reactionary as neither anticipated anything and couldn't decide which one of them were watching Son. Absolutely brutal...

Henderson has to start. De Gea wasn't at fault for any goals today, but he also didn't save any. Henderson made 2 saves in his two starts that changed the game around. If those had gone in nobody would have blamed him, but his saves changed the match. De Gea isn't a match winner anymore. I am also suspect that he is too quiet in goal. So many times players are making runs unseen by players. Perfect example was Aurier's goal. He makes a blind run behind Pogba. This is where DeGea should be giving Pogba a shout, but it doesn't seem as though he does. Great shot stopper in his day, but never learned the basics of the game. Time to sit down...

And Pogba....this guy should not be starting. On his day he is the best midfielder in the world. But on days like today, he is out worked. Should have been him coming off at half time, not Bruno.

All in all, a game to forget, but it also may be the result we needed to get Woodward to pull the trigger on deadline day...

The scoreline is deceiving after the red. 2 soft, stupid goals conceded. But yet the game was on. Spurs don't look that good. But after a man down we lost the spirit.

I am not too much concerned about the result. Shit day can happen and you can do nothing about it. It just not your day sometimes.

My worry is about how other managers are gaming Ole's system or whatever that is. Ole and his coaches have changed how backline worked in last season. Last season we were much more compact and leaking very few goals. This season suddenly both our left and right side of defenses are wide open for any opposite winger to exploit. This is dangerous and we are leaking goals in buckets. Ole tinkered something that is not supposed to be.

Ole's belief in his one and only one system will take us down this season. As if we are the galacticos of PL. We are not, and we need to humble enough to adjust the playing 11 as per the opponents. If we go all out with 3 forwards in every fracking match then we are done. Last season from Feb we played mainly against the weaker teams and those 11 worked. But now we are in new season. Other managers have potentially figured out way to game this formation, like Palace did last time. This just not going to work every week. Sooner Ole learns the better next games would be. Fingers crossed.

Absolute disgrace

Lost a player to a red card but you’d think we had 4 players sent off. No reaction what so ever.

We’ve started this season so badly. Tough month ahead as well.

A very good first 35 seconds. Went a bit downhill from there though.

Well at least we get two weeks free of watching this complete shitshow now.

I'm just not sure if we can use the Ole hasn't been backed in the transfer window excuse any more. Because those players out there should not be playing that inexplicably badly as they did today (and against Brighton... and against Palace).

Will Maguire and Pogba start playing better if we got Sancho? The mentality of the team is weaker than piss.

Team is a shambles from the top down. Unfollowed on twitter and won't spend a cent on this team until Eddie is gone. Our season could be over by November.

WTF. Words escape me. Maguire had a complete nightmare. Bailly too. Who wants to join this shambles? A team of Sanchos couldn’t save us. Pitiful.

Souness just saying three other United players should have been sent off... we would have been better with 7

Patrice Evra show the passion and hurt that we expect from ever Utd player.
He is distraught, angry and almost in tears.

This is a bigger disaster than the humiliating score line suggests. There’s a total meltdown coming.

Is Ed Woodward actively promoting negative publicity?
More talk = More likes = More mentions

A sort of AFTV_Arsenal-losing mentality to revenue generation

I'm sick of baseless, completely unfounded criticism like this: our goal difference is actually -6!

Shame on you.

You're right. That really makes all the difference. With that in perspective, all is now right in the world

I’ve been all for giving Ole time but we aren’t getting better.

Time for Poch. It may fix the coaching side.

A couple signings may help tomorrow.

We aren’t fixing the sporting management or the board or owners but they could help a bit.

I can only assume the real Maguire is still in a Greek prison somewhere and they’ve swapped him with a dodgy clone
